I myself don't hunt. My DH does, he loves the sport but moreso the aspect of food and the challenge of finding that Buck. Especially with the cost of living increasing and the DNR needing to thin the herds out in fall it all makes sense. However for fishing if you consider that hunting, that's more so sport to us. Just for the sole reason that alot of the waters here are polluted, so we do mainly catch and release.

I don't hunt for either because I could never eat something without a co-op label but my husband hunts and he hunts for the meat . He does not believe in hunting anything unless he is going to eat it as this is just plain cruelty . To hunt to feed a family is one thing but to hunt for the fun of it is just wrong .

I agree with you. When I was able to get around I hunted and fished a lot. However I never did believe in killing anything unless you were going to use it for food. I never did look at it as a sport.

Hi friends, I have various relatives that hunt and I have let it be known to them, I think it is a disgusting sport. How anyone can look one of those beautiful does in the eyes and then shoot it is beyond me. We already have all the meat we require at the grocery store or the butcher. I think if someone is able to shoot something in cold blood, then really I think that person would be able to kill another human being. Disgusting Cheryl

ewww....i am a vegetarian...i hunt for veggies in the flea markets. my cat likes to hunt, but he is indoors, so he hunts for invisible mice, and inspected my whole townhouse. now, the real mice in the utility attic escaped because they know a cat lives here now.

I don't hunt but I wouldn't have any problem hunting for food. I just don't need to do that with a store a block away.

I don't hunt and I don't eat the meat that comes from deer or moose or any of them animals that are hunted. I really like animals and would never be able to do this even if I had to because i had no food to eat. I would eat plants before i would be able to hunt and eat an animal.

I used to hunt when I was younger but I don't anymore. I never did it for sport though cause someone always ate the meat that we hunted. NOt me but someoen would eat it and sometiems we would sell it to other people for them when they wanted it and they will pay for it.
