What's the worst virus you have encountered?

Redlof virus. Well that was a long time ago because ever since that day, I see to it that my computer is 100% virus free. I can still remember that virus even infected my antivirus, my system restore also failed. I have to format my pc so that I can use it again.

The worst virus I've had is just a type! Malware..which is including trojan..And it disables your taskmanager,regedit and many more important things! It's the worst I've got ever..had to format both hard disk (200 GB) and re-install Windows! Had it done in 3 hours, fortunately !

Have you ever tried using a ghost software? It is easy when formatting provided you have another pc with exactly same hardware as the other one?

brontok / rontokbro virus, i don't know it's a local virus that grow in my country, or attack another country too, cause this virus has modified into indonesian language, he duplicate himself at each folder in computer, and disable antivirus that installed, we can't install new antivirus too, many computers at my office have to format again, but my pc no, i tried to solve it without formatting, even it took many days, i use portable antivirus that have not to install
