Names for your children

Just a question for all you parents:
What are your children's names? Were they named after someone/something? or was it just a name that you liked?
For all of you that do not have kids, were you named after someone special? maybe a family name passed down?
My boy's names are Anthony Jerome and Liam James. Anthony we just liked- Jerome was my husband's father's middle name who passed away when my hubby was young. Liam i came across on the internet and loved- after we decided on it i found out that it means William, which is my father's name! so it worked out well. and James is both my brother's and grandfather's name. :)

hello i am a mother of three woderful kids and i gave them the names
MARGARET LEIGH - 3 YRS OLD.
MATT ZACHARY - 18 MONTHS OLD
MEGAN ANDREA -- 3 MONTHS OLD.
the first two names i got it from the novel i was reading..and megan is was named after megan young a local actress here in my country..andrea is my mothers name.
megan is actually jus a variation of margaret and both names have a meaning..PEARL.

my daughters name is ashton paige i had the name destiny paige picked out at first but one of my friends daughters was that so i went through the alphabet thinking of names and came up with it.
my sons name is dustin daniel i named him after his daddy so hes a junior

that is a really pretty name! i love it. i also like dustin. i had a friend in college named dustin, and he was the only one i ever knew. neither of those are popular names, which is neat. thanks for the reply.

Our kids are named hannah leigh, hailey nicole and logan charles. for their first names they were just names that we liked. My sister and I both have middle names after our grandmothers. So i wanted my kids to have their middle names be after someone too. Leigh comes from two people actually. My grandmother's middle name was Lee and my husbands sister's middle name was lea. They both passed away in 99, 3 years before my daughter was born. Nicole comes from my best friend. We have been best friends for 22 years. Charles is my dad's middle name. He never got a boy so I thought he would like if his grandson was named after him.

those are really nice names. i love the name logan. it's nice to be able to name your kids after a family member- it is just a special something that can stay with them. i am sure your father was very flattered by the namesake! :) thanks for sharing!

I have 6 kids. Three a piece from 2 different men. Two boys, both named after their fathers, Eric & Reginald. Four girls one named after me, Christine. The other three just names that their father and I agreed upon Kelly, Jasmine & Lattifah. Christine was my last and I wanted a namesake like the father's had. Worked out great. She is the spitting image of me. Love it, love it, love it.
