Was Jesus a God??? Does he get tired? Is he gods son?

Thanks for starting this discussion.Please try to understand that humans cannot become Gods and Gods never take birth from woman's womb,require food/water to live and then die for our sins(as Christians believe).......Mind you there is only one God Almighty,who has created this universe without getting tired.Only He can create millions of such like universes in seconds if He feels like.......This is an allegation that God Almighty had tired and took rest after making this universe.Then God Almighty has no son,father,wife or any other relative.In Bible,we find tons of sons,not one and only son.......All these are man -made concepts.Please read the last divine Book,the Holy Quran at least once in your life.It will clear most of your doubts and will lead to the ultimate Truth........

I am not religion expert but the bible says he is the son of God, who can question that? and the sacrifice thing or the being human is done to set an example on all people, that you can be saved because you do the right thing and you die and ready to die doing what you believe in.

That really all depends on whether you are Christian and what kind of Christianity you subscribe to. For example, if you are Bahai, you would believe that jesus, muhammed and moses were all incarnations (human representations of god). If you are catholic or a part of most protestant movements, you would believe that Jesus is the son of god but somehow is god along with the holy spirit and all these three, while seperate beings, are one joint entity and are god. If you are Jewish, you would believe that Jesus isn't anything but a crazy jew who lied to his people. If you are Muslim, you believe that Jesus, while great, was nothing more than a man of god and not god's son. He would be a son of god in the sense that he was created by god but is not of divine essence. It's pretty complicated stuff.

you are very right mate and all thoughts are true:) god can't be related to human by any means...god created the whole universe and all humans in it...got created also jusis but not as his son but as a messanger to the humanity to make them wake up from all bad things they were doing...we in islam admit that there is only one god allah and he has no son & no partner as these things resemble weaknes while god can't be related to weaknes by any means...you can read more about islam to reveal all thoughts you have:) contact me for any help mate and i will give you some good sites;)

ya you are right,, human has not a honour to be called GOD or son of GOD,, GOD and human are very2 different ... GOD makes human,,this earth etc,, jesus are human,, jesus are GOD's messenger,, not more...

I think Jesus is not God,but like all of us he also son of the God.What make Jesus totally different from us he that he sacrificed his life for the benefit of all of us.

Not everyone believes Jesus and God are the same being, people who do come from the oneness group. Than there are those that believe in trinity (a word not even found in the scriptures) that the holy spirit and Jesus and God are all different and the same being manifested in different ways. I believe that Jesus and God are different. He wasn't God's son in flesh but in spirit. Adam was considered the son of God but was of flesh, Jesus son of God in spirit. As far as a day of rest, There are lots of times when I have taken a moment of rest even if I am not tired. If I am working on something I like to take a moment and look at the work I have done myself.

hi yeah i agree with you that Jesus was ot a God,God cannot be tortured and killed by humans.But definitely was a saint-a very good human being and Saints are definitely superior to human beings.yes u r right-human cannot be a God's son-he can definitely be a God's messenger.One of my friend had asked me that if Jesus cud not protect himself how ca he protect the entire humanity?-I had no answers to his question.

Jesus was a simple human like you and me. Earlier Churches used his image as God to make church higher authority. Churches declaired Him as Son Of God and himself as a God. But We all should be agree Jesus has changed life of millions for good. He was a human in real ..he has all emotions as we have, even he had romantic relation with Mary Magdalene too. I would say He was a Mentor for people and it worth to follow him.
