It is amazing how when someone smiles at you it seems to life your day even when you are having a bad day . When you go out do you smile at those around you ? What do you do when someone smiles at you , do you take the time to smile back ? How does this make you feel when you are having a bad day , does it make you feel a little better about your day ? So how many people have you smiled at today ?

I love to smile infact my son always keeps smiling and that is something I really love about him as he makes my day great even If i feel sick.I smile at the people who smile at me and I dont think we need to pay anything if we smile at those who dont smile at us.

Isnt' it amazing how a child can bring such a smile to your face . They think nothing about smiling and do it to everyone yet for some when they get older they lose this . It is so nice to see that so many on mylot take the time to smile at everyone . Like you said it cost nothing to smile :)
Thank you for your response .

I always like to smile. If i smiled to a group of people say in a seminar...then i have smiled to hundreds in a day. So apply for seminars or at least smile to your families ..

well New York is a tuff town. but i always make sure i smile at people when we come into eye contact. i always say good morning, good evening, or excuse me. which i think i say more then anything being there are always so many people on the street here.
I think it is important to look at people and smile when you connect. You have no idea how you change someones mood, someones day, or someones life.

I have no idea how many people I smiled at today. I would say at least a dozen people maybe more. I went several places today. At least 2 at home, 3 at the gas station, a few at the grocery store, a few more at the library, and a few more at when I stopped at the gas station again to grab a drink.

Since I stayed home today, I haven't smiled at anyone yet. I guess I'll do once Boyfriend gets home tonight. I smile back at those who smile at me. I mean, I've smiled at people before and have gotten frowns or I was ignored so I try to acknowledge if someone smiles at me. Bad days get a little okay when you see a stranger or people you know give you a smile.

I have picked up on some of my colleagues today. I managed to tease them a bit and make them smile. I do feel a bit better. I usually smile back politely at those who have smiled at me.

It is a good feeling to know we were able to do something no matter how minor to brighten someone elses day and a smile is just so easy to do and costs nothing :)

Do my cats count? Since I haven't seen any humans as of yet today, they are the only ones that I've given my smiles to. LOL! When I'm out and about I always make it a point to smile at those around me. It just seems to make things more cheerful.

Hi sam,
as the common expression " smile and the whole world will smile at you" LOL! I love giving my smile to strangers also since I feel that whenever I received one from someone I don't know and it brings joy really in me so, I believed this is the priceless gift we can offer to people!

I smiled at my neighbors across the street today..I visit them everyday..Older couple..Very nice...
When I'm sad my grandson's smile at me and it makes me feel so much better...If someone smiles at me I do smile back and even say hello to them...
Smiling makes me happy so I do it often..
Of course around here it is a non-stop giggling fest.....*smiles*

I thing none or one only? I am home the whole day and I had one visitor, I smiled at her if my memory serves me right. When I am out I smile a lot. I smile on the lady serving our food. I smile on the security that holds the door for me. I smile on the driver. I smile on the girl looking at my way. I smile on the saleslady curiously talking about me and my baby. I smile almost on every one I see. This smiling habit of mine makes me feel good all the time.

Nearly fifty people in 30 minutes time this morning and every morning.I am the PTA member in my school in charge of regulating the parking of the cars.I flash my smile to the drivers and shown them the way daily.I just make it a point to light up a smile on as many people as I can early in the morning.

I saw a couple of people when I was walking in my neighborhood this morning and I said hello and smiled at them. But your question has made me wonder if I smiled at my kids today. They get up and get themselves ready for school. I get myself ready so I can take them to school. I said good morning I think, and bye when dropping them at school. But did I actually smile at them? Not sure. I need to make a point to smile at my kids each morning.

A lot of people today. Actually I do it every day. I work at school and see my students there every day. When they say 'hello' and smiles at me I smile in return. I really feel better at those moments especially when my young pupils smile at me I just can't not to smile in return.

I cannot remember exactly how many people I smiled at today. I like to smile. I think it's a good therapy in this life. When we smile to others, almost all of them will smile back to us, and this will make life more happy. I just avoiding smile to opposite gender. In my country we still in traditional opinion, smile to other gender may cost me a big problem... a big misunderstand could happen...

I must have smiled at 10 people since morning. I always feel nice when someone smiles at me. Its one contagious curve which sets things straight.
Smiled at my daughter when she got up , at my apartments watchman, at my maidservant, at a neighbour.
Feels good when someone smiles back at you.
Keep smiling always
