Do you look at the watch?

If I wear a watch I always look at it to check the time. When I’m still studying and the subject is boring I look my watch every minute to check if it is already time. I tend to look to my watch more often when I’m bored or I have someone waiting for. There is one incident during my high school days that we have our Recollection. We stayed in a Retreat house for three days. It’s the place were you suppose to have more connection with God. When we arrive at the place our adviser took all our watch and cell phones. He says it is necessary for us to concentrate and not be time conscious.

For me, time seems to go by faster when I am not keeping an eye on it. So, when I still knew where my watch was, I would leave it at home. If there is a clock around, I will glance at it from time-to-time, because we have a slight schedule at work. For instance, around 10.30-11, we let the dogs out for the second time. Around 12.30, the morning shift ends, and around 5.30, the afternoon shift ends. It just depends.

Hi ya razor123 I don't actually wear a wrist watch but I have always got my mobile in my pocket so I keep an eye on the time. When I am in the house I always have the radio on so I know what the time is roughly by the news updates they give. So I don't really check the time an awful lot during the day or night only when I have to be somewhere.

I know I tend to this and it has formed into a habit, that is why I don't wear a watch but if there is one in the place I would surely be looking on it.

yes, I do look at the watch every second! right now I have only two minutes to leave the office for lunch, but it seems that the time doesn't go anywhere! it's very annoying to wait for certain time, I like to do things at the moment without being pushed to wait a specific time.. but we have to respect the schedule..

I used to look at the watch when I was in school and during college days especially when the class was boring.That was something which I always felt when the class was boring the time runs very slow and I keep looking at the watch at every five mins. Regards

it is quite an usual action when u are stressed, nervous or anxious.. but.. tell u something weird.. i have the tendency of lookin` at the watch eventhow i do not have one ..... a.. and .. by the way looking at the watch make the rest of people that surrounds you.. to feel anxious and bad.. cause they are borring

sometimes when the teacher is really boring me and i have nothing to share on the topic i start looking at the watch and say "gosh when will it be over"
