i dont mind being buried or cremated, but im a little bit partial to be buried, Because cremation reminds me of hell-- you know, the fiery flames and stuff, who knows, that just might be my destination so might as well preserve my body from being burned! But seriously, i prefer to be buried but if the time comes that i die and whoever lives with me at that time cant afford to pay for the burial expenses, i'd gladly accept a cremation. hopefully, he or she chooses the most stylish available in the stores!so what about you? share your commends.

LOL. I would like myself to be cremated actually, but my family insist that in my family no one should be cremated because they still want to memorize us. LOL. I would like to be cremated and I want my ashes spread in places that I want to go, but I don't have any opportunity to do that. I am sure I would be happy if someone would do that for me LOL

after I die, I would like to be buried and maybe even mummified, I would like to be kept and that any grand grand children of me can see me and say, there is my grand grand father, a great man, I'm proud to be part of his legacy and his name.. That's my dream.. I would like to be remembered even after having gone

Personally, my choice is to be buried over cremation. I know that Cremation is supposed to be a lot cheaper, but for the same thoughts as you, who wants their body to be burned and then their ashes spread all over somewhere, or to sit on someone's mantle for them to look at everyday. I guess it will all depend on when I die if anyone is left to make that choice, but hopefully before that day comes, I can have a say in the matter as well.

I prefer to be buried. I am saving my money so that there is no excuse. Cremation was something the pagans did, and when you are buried, your body is whole. Whereas cremation means well either you wanted the cheapest way out or your spouse or parents or loved ones did, and burial shows more respect for the body. The Church also considers burial a sign of respect. Our church believes in burials. I do too. Oh I did before I joined the church. For me, a burial is showing respect and honor to God and to the body HE gave us.

I'm just hoping that I'm not going to be in a position to care about it one way or the other when the time comes! 2 Movie images come to mind-Sean Connery as Bond in "Diamonds are forever" in a crematorium casket with the Gas Burners coming on..and Uma Thurman as "The Bride" in "Kill Bill" being buried alive..*shudder*

I have told my husband that I want to be buried - I am afraid of fire and the idea of cremation creeps me out!

I think being cremated then my ashes thrown into the sea would be for me. It will save cost and save space. After all memories that are engraved in our hearts will always remain. So its cremation then ashes into the sea for me!!

i would have to say cremation because i am sure it is way cheaper and we are not wealthy and i cannot see spending thousands of dollars for a plot of land and a casket that you are going to rot away in anyway. i hate the veiwing process at wakes also and think it is very hard on the family members to see their loved one laid out. i have been giving all of this some thought lately.

Hi there!
When I die I would like to be cremated cause I think its more practical. Its much cheaper than being buried. I also prefer to stay with my family after cremation. Contain my ashes in a beautiful urn and place in an altar beside an image or statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ cause we have an altar inside our home.
Ciao!

it really depends. Honestly I would like to be cremated and my ashes be laid in a columbarium. It saves space and if someone would visit me they would feel more comfortable because of the facilities in a columbarium .

although this is a terrible question, but i used to think of it. cremate is better, i think. at least, it's clean. envoirnmental. it will be the most acceptable way by people.

I want to be cremated I think more so for generations to come it simply takes up less room. It is not like someday no one will ever die so I imagine things are going to get a bit tight in the cemeteries etc. So I will do my part and be cremated then my family can take the money they save from the casket and buy a nice urn for me where they can visit me anytime they want.

Traditionally speaking, I want to be buried but for the present scenario since cemetery is very expensive I rather to be cremated. Cremation is one option for the relatives, families as well if what they want to happen to your body. Still it is better to be buried than to burn your body into ashes....

i prefer to be cremated. I don't want to be buried, decay and be eaten by worms. I want to be burned rather than to be eaten by worms. They are just both not so pleasant thing. LOL. But I think it's more cheaper for my family if i will be cremated so I chose to be cremated. I don't want to be a burden.

I wanna be buried and look pretty on my coffin lol! But for practical reasons, I won't care to be cremated, it's less expensive and we return to ashes anyways...

I would chose cremation. It is cheaper, get everything done immediately. I can't stand the thought of being buried. Grosses me out! I can't take confined quarters. Nor can I think of being left underground to be eaten by bugs. It just all works nicely for me.

I prefer cremation. It's practical, economical and less detrimental to the environment.

Cremation is for me. I don't like the idea of my body rotting in the ground. I would have my ashes spread in the ground as a fertilizer :D

I would prefer to be cremated, it sould save space on the earth. Besides when you die all thats left is a shell. Its your soul that moves on :)
