I need to vent

I need to vent so please just bare with me. As most of you know or should know I am a EMT and work on a ambulance. Tuesday I went to work and had to work with this guy that I never got along with. My normal partner is out on workmans comp. Anyways on Tuesday afternoon we got called back to the station because my partner needed to take care of a situation there at one. I have no idea what it was because it is none of my business. So in the process of this happening we got a call and me and the Supervisor went out on the call togeter instead of the guy I was working with. The plan was since the call was already on hold for over 45 mins that me and the supervisor would go out and take the call then after we would came back and me and the other guy would go out and finish the shift together so that way he could finish his business at the station. No big deal. Well the call we had tured out to be horrific. Origanly it came in for a female the fell. We get on scene and it turned out to be a domesitc violence scene. The women met us out side with a child about 3 months old sitting in a car seat. No this whole time there was a oder of gasoline which kind of through up some read flags for me. Next thing we know the husband/boyfriend whomever he was to the women came out and starts yelling and carrying on because she wanted to go to the hospitl. He actually started to hit this lady. At this point we turned to go back to our tuck and have dispatch call and get the police on scene. All of a sudden we hear crys and screaming the guy had throw a match on the car seat and set the baby on fire. I was in scoke that that happened to me. After the call I really needed someone to talk to about the call because I was disturbed that it happened. So I called a friend of mine that is also a EMT for another company and figured that I could talk to him because he is in the same field that I am and can kind of know what I am talking about. So at first he was symthetic and wanted to listen but was at work. So he said tht we could get together Wensday and talk about it. That never happened. All of a sudden on thursday I am getting text messages on who I worked with on the call. I told him my suppervisor. He was over here saying oh well such and such the guy I was origianlly to work with said you didnt have that call and that you worked with him the whold day. Which isnt true. What had happened was the the man that I was going to talk to about this call has a friend that is a very close friend of the guy I was working with before this call and he said that I didnt go on the call and I was with him the whole day. This really pisses me off because I really needed someone to talk to. I am still hurt because he wanted to question the call. I had to literally get my supervisior on the phone and tell my friend that he worked with me on that call and not the other guys. My thing is why would I make something like this up. So what do you think? How would you handle this situation?
