World War 2 a good thing ?

Hi all
Today in history class, my teacher said that Word War 2 was also a good thing that happened.. And well in fact he is correct. Off course it was bad that so many people died, but a lot of great inventions were made during the second World War. Without those inventions, life would be a lot different today..
What do you think about this ??

This thing has 2 aspects.
lets consider this situation. What if I throw you out of your house, and build a mall on that piece of land?
It will serve as an entertainment source to many people, mass affect. Willlead to economic development, which will in turn lead to a better sttus of my country.
But what about you? Would you consider what happened with you fair? I guess not.
Lesson: Compromising with the minority, for the betterment of the majority, is WRONG.
This is moral.
What your teacher says is more prudential.
Discuss this with her, she'll give you a good opinion on it.

I agree with you. My father was in WWII and growing up we were always reminded that without the brave men and women during that war, we would not be enjoying life as we know it. There were a lot of things that happened to ensure our freedoms and help our country to continue to become one of the greatest countries in the world.
