No, if it was one like Tommy Steele then you wouldn't know he was a leprechaun unless he told you.

leprechaun - leprechaun
In Irish mythology, a leprechaun (Modern Irish: leipreachán) is a type of male faerie said to inhabit the island of Ireland They usually take the form of old men who enjoy partaking in mischief. Their trade is that of a cobbler or shoemaker. They are said to be very rich, having many treasure crocks buried during war-time.[1] According to legend, if anyone keeps an eye fixed upon one, he cannot escape, but the moment the eye is withdrawn he vanishes.

No,unless it was that creepy one from the Leprechaun movie(anyone seen those?). This reminds me of the time my cousin (6yrs old or older) said he found a leprechaun..when I went over to see it,it was a salamander. He probably had lizard in his mind and got confused. I thought that was pretty funny,he was so excited...what a strange child.

Why would I be scared? Leprechauns are cool :D. They haven't done anything scary to frighten me. Lucky Charms are one of the best cereals out there and I love them so i'm sure the Leprechauns wouldn't mind sharing?

No. Actually I think the leprechaun would end up being scared because I would chase after him until finally he gives me all his gold.

No I wouldn't be scared. I wouldn't get too close, though. I'd be afraid it might bite me or something.

OMG! I think I would be. I do not believe all these people who say they would not be afraid if they met a leprechaun. Come on, how weird would it be? I guess it would depend on whether or not he seemed evil. And what he did and said. And heck, if you even realized it at first. But, I think it would be freaky. C'mon people, be real. It would be weird! You wouldn't even be the littlest bit scared? I would. There, I've said it. I would be afraid of a leprechuan.

No, I would not be scared. I met one when I was 9 years old. It was class project to make a Leprechaun trap. I caught on, it was not really trapped it pretended to be to try to get me to catch it. The look bugger I caught it. Then just as they say when you take your eyes off it it dispears. I had fun chasing it for about a month nightly around my bedroom. Till till it bit me a farewell saying it did not want to cause me to much more mischevious but it had fun, it told me to always look at the clouds when the sun comes out to see the real gold. I for years wondered about this, until I was cleaning my bedroom the same room, the leprechaun appeared in, Saw the clouds part and saw this huge very bright rainbow come out by the horse barn. I never seen anything like it, so I ran outside it was raining a misty type of rain, the sun was shining so bright it was hard to see, so I followed it and the rainbow came right down into this puddle, and it looked like pure gold the sunlight on the water, My Dad saw it too as we stood there in awh, and then we understood what the gold at the end of the rainbow looked like..... It was an awesome experience and my Dad says definately once in a lifetime. So I do not fear leprechauns, and I am glad they showed me the gold at the end of the rainbow. Makes you appreciate sunshine and water more - DNatureofDTrain :) .
