Anyone know about electrical wiring of a house?

I bought an electric pressure washer and was trying to wash the siding on the house this past weekend, but it stopped working. It worked for about 20 minutes, then all the power in the house went off. I went to the service panel and switched everything back on. I tried it again with the same result. Is this a problem with the pressure washer, the electrical wiring in the house, or a combination of the two? I haven't had this problem with our electric lawn mower on the same receptacle, just the pressure washer.

probably your pressure washer has higher ampere load than you lawn mower, causing your main breaker to trip.. does your washer still working? or after the tripping, it never turned on again? if it is no more working then the motor may be burned/shorted.. if it is still running but tripping the power after some time, then try to plug it on other power outlet..

It turns on again after tripping. I just can't get it to stay on. I've tried it in a couple of different outlets, but it does the same thing. I heard that the outlet in the kitchen is the strongest, so I used that, but it's no different. I think it's time to call an electrician. Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to my original post :)
