Hey everyone, new here. What's your combat level, favorite place to train, and for what purpose (Exp for mage, exp for melee, drops, etc)? I am combat level 71. 60 attack, 59 (soon to be 60) strength, 53 (soon to be 60) defence, 63 mage. I am a non-member, and I like to train melee and/or mage on cockroach soldier's and workers in the stronghold, mainly for experience, but there is some ok drops, too. The Cockroach soldiers rarely drop rune scimitars. And there is some adamantite/mithril ore, some law runes, and a few other things dropped. I also like to train on lesser demons, as long as I bring plenty of food. Good experience, rarely drop rune medium helms, sometimes 50 or so fire runes. I also like to go to the clan war's free-for-all, and just run in the middle of a big crowd with auto-retaliate on when I'm doing my home-work, so I dont really have to pay attention, just here and there go back in the portal and back out into the crowd. I LOVE The Fist Of Guthix. It's my favorite place. Not only do you get free runes (I'm a sucker for free runes), but you get some nice prizes. So, what/where do YOU train, for what reason, and anything else you'd like to throw in.

i am close to your level i'm level 75 with 60 attack strength and 61 defence. i personally think that training at the roach place with the cockroach workers is best. i think that because i can make up to 30k a trip with an almost full inventory of tuna. if i was training mage i would go and train at the fist of guthix because of it's free runes.

When, I was a non-member I used to always train where the Moss Giants and Red Spiders were in Varrock sewers. But for members, it has to be PC (Pest Control) You get great exp, especially when you recieve tokens for successful defeating all four portals.

I am also a non member, and non of the places you guys have talked about worked for me. Except ofcorse the lessers, they are great xp but definately for people below level 80. I am saying level 80 because if you are any lower you will take a while to kill the lessers meaning slower xp. The best, best, best places to train for the most xp in non members is flesh crawlers for pures and people under level till any level you want, i think level 70 is still good because you can just leave your caracter while you do other stuff and he/she will auto the fleshies on their own so you get heaps of xp and if you have high enough def, you can just check on your chrachter every 20 - 30 minutes! as long as you dont need to eat, you have nothing to loose, when they stop auto atacking you your charachter will just logg of. When you hink you are high enough level go and kill level 50 giant spider. I know your thinking, O thats gana be easy, i am lev2l 60 now i will own. Well it doesnt work that way, they hit really often with a max hit of 7. Even level 90+ still use food, and its not like your killing 2 or 10 of them, your killing hundreds and this is all from experience) just go to the giant spiders and as anyone there "is this the best place to xp n non members?". I dont rally recomend anything for drops, raoches are ok but you can be making lots more money with other skills like 60+ woodcutting or mining at nearly an level. And i train my mage by alching, i wont tell you wjat you just have to find your own things to alch that you dont loose money with, so its cheaper then using normal runes, the only bad thing is that you dont get any hp exp if you alch. I would kind of recomend "FOG" (fist of guthix) because the runes are cheap, but you dont get much exp if you are higher level because you will just kill them easily and wont get much xp (this is because all you have to do to get mage exp is fire the spell, and you get extra ep for actually hitting anything more the "0") And just a little trick for combat, did you know that there are different NPCs (monsters) for each combat skill...like strength, attack, and def. For exampple, some onsters are weak agait mage, so you mage them, so are weak against attack so you train attack on them. I am not sure what the monsters are, you can just look it up a lot of sites have them! ~Happy MyLotting~
