Real or Rumor? You aren't going to believe this...or maybe you will.

I just got an email from my sister and brother about a possible upset in the Democratic ticket. There is a rumor that Biden is going to drop out of the VP spot just after the VP debates and Hillary is going to replace him. I seriously doubt this is true but Hillary would have to be a real idiot and a sap to accept the VP nomination on that basis. It's also a pretty sappy thing for Obama to do if it's true. He would obviously be doing it because of fear of Sarah Palin and I would hope that the people who are voting for McCain who supported Hillary wouldn't be stupid enough to fall for such a publicity stunt.
Again, I doubt this is true because doing this just a month before the election would really show Obama's true wishy washy colors in spades.

Obama will make history if elected for being the first African-American prez of the USA. It was a come-on.
Now, Palin will make history if elected as VP and it seems a most enticing come-on.
The playing field has just been leveled. The element of surprise, picking Palin from Alaska, is still carrying the Republican to a surging voters' agreement on their platform. Obama is on a defensive, a most insecure-laden side to be on. If he allows Hillary to come in, it is already too late.

I think it would be very foolish of the Democratic Party to allow this. It would make them all look like opportunists and total idiots.

I agree but Snopes hasn't been able to corroborate it one way or the other. The person who wrote it said they got the info from the Democratic National Committee but I seriously doubt this.
