Non-Vegetarian "Animal Lovers" are a bunch of Hypocrites.

How can some people even have the audacity to claim they are animal lovers and then eat meat nonetheless. It is a total hypocricy and you people who eat meat and own pets should feel sick every time to look at your pets. What is the difference between the meat form your pet Kitty and the meat from a Cow off a farm? SO I submit to you, that if you are truly an "animal Lover" you had better be vegetarian or had better convert to vegetarianism soon.

I think that what people have to realize is that everyone has their own opinions and thoughts. I myself am a meat eater. I have been out to the farm that raised the cow that is now in my freezer. The farmer has taken very good care of the cow but it was time for it's life to keep my families life alive. Do you really think that every specie of animal can live on vegitation. Can you picture a tiger that would be denied the food they always eat? I guess that if you are a vegetarian that you do not support local zoos? Or preserve the life of endangered species? Because there are alot of animals that thrive on eating meat. We are just another specie of animal that has evolved. Even in things like most dog foods or cat foods there is some form of animal whether it be beef or chicken. And the animals need this to live happy healthy lives. My sister is a vegetarian but she believes that it is everyones choice and that I am no better or no worse than she is. We both respect each others choice in the way we live. By the way I own 2 cats, 4 dogs, a bird, a turtle, a rabbit and fish. There is no way that you can say I had better be a vegetarian. I respect what cows mean, I do not believe that they should be treated badly but that they are on earth for a purpose and one of those purposes is to keep people healthy. That is my opinion and you are entitled to your own. Don't judge unless you are free of judgement and no one is perfect and we all can be judged.

Wow! This is one of the most judgemental and rude posts I've ever had the misfortune to stumble upon.
Being an animal lover and being a vegetarian are NOT synonymous. Vegetarianism and veganisms are personal choices that many make, but are by no means a prerequisite for loving animals!
Many animals eat other animals. That is the way of things. Human digestive systems are meant for processing both vegetation and flesh. Eating the flesh of other beasts is nothing more or less than contributing to the natural cycle of things. We chose pets as companions because we feel a kinship with them. Naturally we don't feel a desire to devour our close friends. Not everyone feels a kinship with cows, or chickens, or pigs, etc. Neither does any other animal that chooses to eat another.
It is simply the way of things.

I have this argument a few times with people whio have a go at me for not wanting to eat meat, and what i have found out is a lot of people just don't let themselves think where the meaqt comes from...as an example when I was visitin a friend some time ago she took me to an egg farm to buy some eggs, she went into the sales part to buy her eggs as I wandered over to the sheds and i got so upset at seeing all the chickens all crushed up in the cages, well I was very upset when she came out and we had a big argument over it because she said it was my own fault because i just shouldn't have looked in the sheds..and nearly everyone agreed with her, if I didn't look in the sheds I wouldn't have seen it so what a lot of people prefer to do is just not know , sweep it all under the carpet so to speak...

watch this......I LOVE TO EAT MEAT!!! and I LOVE ANIMALS!!!........DEAL WITH IT!
you don't know me so who are you to judge me.
i don't eat cats or dogs or any animal normally kept as a pet.
i also don't eat exotic or endangered species.
i eat meat that is specifically raised as a FOOD PRODUCT!
human beings by nature are omnivores.....again DEAL WITH IT!
our teeth and digestive systems and the wiring in our brains are by design made for processing MEAT as well as plant material.
i don't preach to anyone or try to shove my beliefs down any one's throat.
i believe everyone has the right and freedom to CHOOSE to live their lives the way they want.
man has been eating meat for 1000's of years and will probably continue to do so for 1000's of years to come....so get over it.
you have the right to live your life how you want and i have the right to live mine how i want.
anytime one of these debates or arguments start it's by someone like you saying "BOO HOO, BOO HOO don't eat the poor cows and the poor little piggies BOO HOO"
i never see it start with "i'm a meat eater and i think everyone should eat meat"
i could care less what you eat.....you could eat cotton balls and tumble weeds for all i care.
so mind your own business about what goes on in my household.
FREE THE BROCCOLI!!! DONT HARM THE CARROTS!!!

I take it then, that you're not the sort of person who grows plants in their home or garden?
