The Death Sentence is Wrong!

I agree. Some people deserve to die, in the words of Bilbo Baggins on Gollum: "I daresay he does! But who are we to say if he should live or not? God has a plan for us all."

I wish the victims of murder could see what you have written and be able to voice their opinions to you face to face. You might have a very different opinion too if one of those victims were part of your family.

Comparing executing murderers is no comparison to the Holocaust. The Holocaust murder innocent people based on their religion, and looks for crying out loud. And regarding taking away their right to live, they did that when they made the choice they did. I wonder, what are your thoughts on abortion - the murder of innocent babies?

So it is all right for a murderer to kill someone and not for the State to bear the sword? And putting them all in prison, well they do escape and also we the citizens of the various countries have to pay for the murdererer's internment. At least in the case of a thief and a confidence man, there is the chance of rehabilitation as also for someone who killed in error - manslaughter or neglect. But we are talking about vicious killers, psychopaths who think nothing of eliminating whole families, shooting some in the commission of a crime to make sure there is no witnesses, throwing a baby off a high bridge, and doing horrible things to their victims and you think it is all right to put them in prison for the rest of their lives? Oh and you do not have to execute them unless you join the police force and are appointed to throw the switch or put the pellets, etc. and also if someone shoots at you, just stand there and let them kill you. OH and the Holocaust killed innocent people. Most of the Jewish people massacred had not killed anyone. So to you these murderers are innocent and have a right to kill without restriction other then be locked in a prison where they will increase, kill the guards, get outside and go on a rampage. Such a horrible future results from your idealogy.

Supa, Uh, I wasn't born in Texas but have lived there several times in my life. I hope to one day move back there. Sorry, but I'm like Ron White (the comedian) on this one. IF there is proof that they did it, open up an exress lane and have a group killing. Quit wasting money by housing them in federal prisons where they actually live with more comforts than most everyday men do. Do a search and look at the tax money wasted on keeping these criminals up that "never thought twice" before killing, raping and destroying the lives of others! They have no rights! All of those disappeared when they maimed or killed someone else.
