I just watched the movie today But i read the book earlier. i have to say i was really disappointed in the movie. They missed so many good parts and switched things up. If you guys even liked this movie. The book is 100 times better. Trust me im a loser and i know my books. Its a great one.

I didn't read the book and I've heard that they changed some things in the movie. I actually enjoyed the movie. Maybe some of the things in the book were too graphic and didn't include it on purpose.

I really liked the movie, but I hadn't read the book first. I probably will now. I know what you mean, though, when they take an amazing book and turn it into a mediocre movie its always disappointing. The worst one for me was clan of the cave bear. The book is one of the best I've ever read and the movie absolutly bombed.

The same thing happened to me when I was watching the movie version of The Sterile Cuckoo. The book was beautiful, and you got a taste of the characters and their relationships, and the movie just made me feel empty and bored inside. It didn't really stimulate my mind very much. Books rule!
