I was just going through a site of an author who I have read all of both of her series so far and waiting for her next book to come out in november. LOL!! Yes I'm a book addict in fact there are series that I have read in a matter of days and now have to wait till next year to read any more!!!!!
But back to what I was saying I went to the site and was looking at the store that they have for clothing and what not. I went to the quotes section and stumble upon a few that I just found entirely funny .....
Here we go!!
"...the true way to a man's heart is six inches of metal between his ribs." Laurell K Hamilton. Anita Blake series
"Anyone who says size doesn't matter, has been seeing to many small knives."
and there are many more but these two make me giggle.
What Book Quotes do you have stuck in your mind and that make you giggle?

I just finished reading all of the Anita Blake books, although I did read them out of order...I might reread it again from the beginning just to feel the flow of the stories.
I haven't read any of her Meredith Gentry books, but I'm contemplating of adding it to my TBR list. I've read Guilty Pleasures in graphic novel format, and I thought it was cool, but it would be best to read the novels first then you will just enjoy the art.
And yes, I've heard that there are plans of making it a TV show...Hmm....hope they can find plenty of gorgeous guys who can act to be part of Anita's entourage..LOL..

Yep I agree with hopefully they can find plenty of good looking mouth watering men to be in her entourage. LOL!! Since Ihave read all of the novels it was easy to enjoy the art work of the comic and I have the laughing corpse too.

i can't wait until the next Anita Blake comes out. I have read all of the books in the series and Laurell K Hamilton is a top notch author so I moved on to her Merry Gentry series I have to say I have read the whole series and I'm a bit dissappointed on how that series ended. Have you seen how they have done the comic series for Anita Blake and now there is even a talk about having a T.V. series to go with the novel.

Ooooo, I loves the Anita Blake series.
As for my favorite quotes, very few have read any of the following books, but I still love them:
The Acts of Caine: Act of Violence, Heroes Die by Matthew Woodring Stover - "You'd burn a city to save one woman?" "I'd burn the world for her"
The Acts of Caine: Act of War, Blade of Tyshalle by Matthew Woodring Stover - "Always keep your head down and crawl towards daylight"
Star Wars: Shatterpoint by Matthew Woodring Stover - "One jedi versus thousands of guards, what makes you think you can win?" "Easy, I have them outnumbered"
(I could be off on this quote or any of the above, been a while since I've read them)

Thus far you'd have to read it as there's no movies. I haven't read the third Acts of Caine book yet as it just came out. I hope the library has it.
