Heels or flats?

What is your preferred kind of footwear, Heels or flat?
I love heels but unfortunately can't afford to wear them because of a chronic back pain. So most of my life I have had to settle for flat shoes or sandals. I envy women who stroll around wearing high heels, walking effortlessly in them and literally floating an inch or two taller than the rest !

i love wearing heels! but basically i wear heels when i go to work or if there's any special function outside. if not i'll just settle with flats

Most definitely flats. I do have some heels that I wear for church, but for the most part, I keep my feet to the ground at all times with sneakers and flats and such. I am in my forties now, so heels is a rare occasion thing for me.

Flats, just for me... From heels, I am afraid of getting ankle sprains. I'm not good at walking with heels, I'm very much comfortable and secure wearing flats. Sometimes I wear heels with flat sole, not pointed. Happy mylotting!

I really like them too but seldom wear them as I have bad feet and they don't help the situation. So it's generally flats for me.....I do have one pair with little heels on them that are okay to wear for a short period of time..but I used to love the tall ones!

definitely heels for me...but it all depends on where im going and what ill be doing.
casual everyday i prefer running shoes or flats but to work i wear heels everyday cause the attire requires it. but generally ill wear heels. most of mine are also extremely comfortable which allows me to be able to wear them for longer periods of time

My work entails me to stand long hours and run around so we prefer flats or just a low heeled shoes. At times though, i do like to strut in high heels. I also have a back injury so I feel the pain when standing too long in heels but I can manage. i don't wear them that often.

oh well, this would open up again my (and i think most girls, too) love-and-hate relationship with stilletos.
i would love to wear heels. but i am taller or already tall for most people here. and i'm also of the slim figure. and i also love running since i'm always in a rsuh so..most of the time i wear flats since i'm more comfortable in it =)
