I agree, I think learning is a process and most children nowadays are lazy studying. What are its causes? I believe it is because of the situation of the world now. More and more children prioritize play more than studying.
Some parents also are very giving to their children to such extent as the children abuses them. Parents buy their children any toys they want. They also don't really discipline their children much. Some are also away from home most of the time and don't really give enough attention to their child and prioritize work more.
Another issue would be the how lessons are taught. I believe that a good teacher will be able to stimulate the students to listen and enjoy learning. I think good teaching techniques would be able to solve students laziness.
Friends are also an issue as students tend to meet other classmates and some of them influences students to do bad things such as cut classes, copying of homeworks and not listening to teachers.
Also a lot of children nowadays are busy with video games. As technology improves so are the video games and the more video games become enticing to the youth. They tend to just play at home and not get involved in extracurricular activities such as sports. This also tend to make children become lazy.
I think the best way to cure laziness is discipline. Get the child to commit in studying at the same time reward him for his achievement. Don't spoil them and try to make them understand that learning is really important in life and getting a good education would definitely help in their success.

there may be several reasons. but first 2 reasons i can say is, diet and the second is family or any personal problems which eats him. and the 3rd one may be due to bad teaching of the teacher. 4th may be due to teachers ego problem on students. yes.. its there.. its bad about teachers. but its true that there are some teachers who have ego problem with their students & they keep on torchur that specific student.

Hello there XinAiWei.
There are factors why the youth of today are becoming more and more lazy and bored with school. One of the greatest factor, maybe, is because they're hooked on computer games and the internet. They tend to become addicted to it and they forget about their studies. This is one of the problems that schools encounter today. Another thing, maybe, is the influence of the people around, their classmate maybe. Some classmates tend to persuade others to join them in some activities that would take the attention to the studies. Even in the home, when students are always scolded by their parents, there's a tendency that they will lose interest because they are not inspired.
Good day!

Learning really could be a bit of a task.
Well, you got to move your mojo and try to comprehend things that you are new and unfamiliar with.
Learning or shall I say education is an infinite process. To think that this thing never ends, therefore one should look for things that could be of his interest to make learning enjoyable for him.
On the other hand, some subjects or school stuff lessons cannot be avoided, which should be taken as part of his chosen path in academics. Laziness might come in.
To me, I seldomly get lazy to learn. I do like to learn, explore my limits, and try to dig out those hidden talents. For those who don't, then its best for them to look for inspiring things around while learning.
Well, it could also be affected by different factors, may it be home, peers, simple difficulties or worse stuff. Its like the philosohical understanding of pleasure, it really is hard to turn your head away from a thing that pleases you just to look at something that could make your nose bleed. I dont know but it depends on how enthusiastic are you or what you wish to be, your goals and your dreams. These things could be brought about through learning.
