Can you eat dog meat?

hi I eat chicken,shrimp very little.So,I can never have a thought of eating dog meat

That's sick. Who in the heck would eat a dog?? I have a Toy Poodle myself, and if someone should even try, that's the end of them. That's just so wrong. I have heard, though, that some cultures do eat dog meat. I don't have any proof of it, but it's just something that I've heard many times before.

Definitely NOT djoyce! I am very adventurous when it comes to trying new foods but I do have my limits and dog meat is certainly one of those limits! I have had the opportunity to try it before but there was no way I could have brought myself to do it. I am sure that it tastes just fine for many people otherwise they wouldn't eat it in the first place; but dogs to me are pets and not food and I just couldn't get my head around it.

Id' rather drink lots of water for survival than eat a dog.

No djoyce71, I will never eat dog meat. even if it might be the most delicious meat in the whole world I will never taste it. For me dogs are family members and not source of food.

Never in my life could I eat dog meat. I have to very wonderful dogs and could never even think about eating them. Our dogs are more then pets to my family, they are family members. Thinking about eating one of them is like thinking about eating a friend or something. I could never in my life do that though. Happy mylotting.

I remember when i was kid,my relatives are cooking dog meat,out of curiosity i've tried eating it.You are right dog meat great and delicious but when i have my pet dogs i stop eating meat dog for some obvious reasons.I love dogs and i don't want them to be hurt.
