I don't think that All rich people are selfish and mean. You don't have to rich to be mean or selfish. No one should assume anything about people, rich or poor.

Many wealthy people give a lot amount of money and sometimes they do it anonymously. Thedy don't want to be identified. They don't want to end up in front page journal but they do it to help their brethren. As always you cannot judge, whether rich people are mean or not.

Hello,Oderog! All the rich people are not selfish or mean. Most of them come out to help the needy people. They donate to clubs or temples or churches for the good of human beings. There may be some exceptions.some of them might be unsocial and mean to part with their wealth.but such people cant live peacefully.thanx.

I deal with well-to-do people everyday. I do not feel that any of them are selfish. Most of them donate to charities or churches. Most of them are more than willing to help others. Selfish, no. Careful, yes. These people didn't get where they are by not using their brains.
My own experience with well-to-do people is that they are no different than I am, except they have more money. That is not to say that some people don't let money go to their heads, becsuse some do. Those people are the ones that end up struggling more and are unhappy in the end.
As one lady once told me, those who are blessed with more are expected to do more.
Even the most well-to-do have problems, and often times, those of us on the lower end of the totem poll fail to remember that. People are people no matter what their financial status is.
