Oh!1 this i interesting because many people specially ladies are having a hard time deciding what is the best. Specially when it comes to dress and shoes. Few hours are not enough for me. Because I have to look for good looking style with good price and I end up transferring from one store to another. I want to e alone when shopping because my hubby keep on complaining why it took me so long to decide. I am in stress when he is with me shopping. I can not concentrate. hahaha..
What about you? are you the type that ca decide immediately what to buy? just curious to hear your experience.

Hi Bebs,
I have the same attitude but here where I can find a lot of sale, I can find easily what to buy with less hassles as before!
I have a place where I only love to buy clothes and a place where I only want to buy shoes so, I will not visit anymore other malls..And then, the sale is also very reasonable so, I can always get what I want...but, when I want to roam around and just take time, hubby also will complain but he is used now..LOL! when he is not tired and I don't like to shop with him when he is tired since it will affect my choices, I will be stress!

That is pretty much the same with me. when I want to roam around my hubby will complain keep on asking me of how many hours I can spend because he will go to other store and just come back when I am done.. hahaha.. There was one time that he dropped me off in a store and he went to his appointment. When he called me if I am done because he is ready to pick me up from that store, oh!! my goodness I was not able to decide yet what to buy. He ended up waiting for me for another half hour. I just buy in hurry though I am not really satisfied with the stuff just because my hubby is already there to pick me up. that is why I want to be alone when shopping.

I always make a list or get a good idea in my head of what I want before I go out shopping so I don't spend hours walking around untill I see something I want or need.

When I am shopping for myself , my children or anyone else it takes me a long time to pick out something . I can spend hours in a store going over prices , looks and styles trying to figure out what it is I really want . I will go from store to store searching for the best prices and the perfect purchase . This annoys my husband who can walk into a store and grab the first thing he sees . He does not enjoy shopping in any way and will often sit in the van for hours waiting for me rather then coming in with me .

My wife used to bring me along when she goes shopping because I do not complain about how long it takes her to shop. I just let her have her time and don't interfere with the whole business of shopping.

I am not a shopaholic person. But I started to be like that when my husband is the one pushing me to go shopping. It took for how many hours for me thinking what should I buy? haha. So what I did, if I am in one botique I buy one or two stuffs in each botique I like. I hate going shopping with my husband because I feel I don't have enough time to shop because he rather sit in the corner and read newspapers than going shopping with me.

Depends on what I am shopping for. Grocery shopping doesnt take long because i generally know what i want to buy so i am in and out unless there are long lines at the checkout.
CLothes shopping, for myself takes forever..lol. I have a heck of a time deciding what looks best. For my son when i shop, it doesnt take me long to choose what i want, but i like to browse more when shopipng for him.

I'm always for simplicity, I don't like too many details whether it be in clothes or in shoes. But the colors that would usually attract me are the lavender, baby blue, aqua blue, mint green, light yellor, apple green and other pastel color. I also love white. I don't go for dark colors like red, black, dark blue. And like you, I shop alone if I am buying for myself because I am very meticulous. I don't like my hubby or any companion to get tired of waiting.

Yes, same as you one hour isn't enough to go for shopping.. It really takes time for me to decide which item should I buy.. Well, my boyfriend really hates when we go to grocery or shopping since it takes me how many minutes to decide what will I buy.. Sometimes, when I want to buy something like in the grocery or go for shopping I don't like him to be my companion since he will easily get irritated and he keeps on complaining.. Of course, I can blame him 'cause I know waiting too much isn't really good.. So, for him not feel irritated and get mad I don't invite him to go for shopping or to buy something in the grocery store.. I'll just ask my sister to come with me or some of my friends who are girls, since I know that they will not complain..

haha !! only very few guys have patience to go with women shopping. Most are complainers. It;s because they can not relate to our choices and it is a girl thing. hahaha.. I understand that.. and me too, I don;t like my hubby to be with me when I shop. He keeps on giving me time.. I don;t want to have a time keeper when I go shopping.

First of all I make sure first whatever that I am buying. I would benefit from it and that it should fit my budget. If those two are satisfied then the next should be if it makes me feel comfortable and look good. I shop alone too because it gives me more time to reflect on what I will buy.

Hi Bebs, It doesn't take much for me to buy a new clothes or shoes, as soon as I saw a nice one that I like and the price was right I will go for it. Maybe that's why sometimes I get the wrong one, . But if I buy things that will cost me a lot, I'll take my time to decide.

it really takes time to decide what you really want when you can only get one thing. For us ladies, it will be a major headache. There are like so many nice things to choose from. CLothes, shoes, accessories etc. We cant even make up our mind. I especially love to try clothes on. seeing how nice the lovely clothes are on you.

I take a while to decide. So long, that I have to look through the stores to get what I want and what matches what I decide. It has to look good on me and being a woman who is under five foot four and stocky built, there are few dresses that look good on me. So I really have to look. Luckily there are two speciality stores in my neighborhood but sometimes they do not have the correct color. As for hand bags, well it has to keep my cell phone, place for credit cards, and yet have enough room for my passport, books, and any thing my husband gives me to hold on to. Oh yes it has to be leather and black. And my cell phone is the same size as an Iphone. Not that easy to find a purse that can accommodate that and does not cost that much.

you make me laugh!! I love it when you said, you banned your husband form accompanying you shopping.. good thing!! That is I think very common to men. they don't like to linger with us when we select item to buy. My hubby keeps on disturbing me, asking why it takes time for me to decide? he is already tired waiting? Good for you your hubby is already banned? well, that would be fine if I can go to the store without depending upon a driver. I can't drive yet and there.s no passenger vehicle in the place where we are.

Oh yeah, I'm that way, I went shopping just the other day, I think I was in the store about an hour and a half, I tried on I don't know how many clothes, I was jeans shopping, I even tried on a couple bras. I came out of the store with nothing...haha. I didn't find anything I wanted, even after trying on all those clothes, I just couldn't find anything I couldn't live without. It takes me forever to find anything, and my husband learned a long time ago not to go shopping with me..lol. I like to go by myself too.

hahaha!!! that's funny!! fitting all those stuff and spending time and end up with nothing? I have done that too. That is why I want to be alone because if somebody with me I might be forced to decide stuff that I don't like just to satisfy my waiting companion. It is always best for me to be alone so that I can do what I want without thinking of anybody.

I'm a guy and I usually know what I want to buy when I go shopping for clothes. I don't spend a lot of time shopping. I'll spend more time trying on clothes than shopping for them.

Hi Bebs,
I'm having the same situaton as yours. Especially looking for shoes. I'm very, very particular with the pattern and style of the shoe. Sometimes it takes me whole day to look for it. I'm very concern on the styles of the dress as well, but as long as i'm looking good on it, i will buy it immediately.
I hate to be alone when shopping coz i can't make up my mind on which one to buy. I need someone to give me opinions & suggestions. Since i do not have any sister, i usually shop with my bf. I can shop with him as he is very patient in giving ideas. And i enjoy shopping with him. Sometimes i go shopping with my classmates, friends as well.

Wow!! you are very fortunate to have a patient bf. That seldom happened most men are not fond of shopping going with women spending lots of time deciding of what to buy.
You are lucky to have him. and you are also different because you can;t buy without others to be with you? I hate when people keep on suggesting and I end up buying stuff I am only oblige to buy because of persuasive suggestion.
