I haven't made one of these in years - not since a friend started selling for Pampered Chef back in the 90s. We used to use pineapple cream cheese in our fruit pizza. If you look at the recipe sites, there are plenty of recipes for this. But the one we used was simpler. Sugar cookie dough for the crust, pineapple cream cheese, then assorted fruits.

I have no clue what is in this fruit pizza but I am betting that it would be a great thing for Diabetics if you used sweet and low or some other sugur substatute. You most likly could do that recipe any way you liked to fill everyones taste and medical needs when eating this. Just my thinking.

I think it would b greatfor th diabetic. You can put whatever kind of fruit you choose on it and you could make the crust sugar free. All I know is that it is wonderful! LOL

I love fruit pizza. I haven't had it in a long time tho. When I used to work in a day care and taught 2 yr olds, one year for our Thanksgiving party, I made it. I had each child bring in some kind of fruit. I made the crust from cookie dough, spread the cream cheese on top and had the children put the fruit on it. It turned out really good and tasted good too.

Now that sounds like fun. Kids always like something they make themselves better anyway.

One of my favorite desserts! I make it by mixing some sugar with plain cream cheese. I love this dessert because you can put pretty much any kind of fruit on it. I love doing different patterns, like the American flag for Fourth of July using blueberries, bananas and strawberries.
