Why are some clothes so pricey?

I have this very bad habit. I love to shop, and once i step into the shops, the clothes that i've select is very pricey. This is so unfair. I just love shopping getting more clothes, nice ones. Why does girls liek shopping so much?

That's because you are either paying for the brand name, quality, or workmanship. But it's easier for girls to look good wearing cheap clothes than for a guy to do that. So isn't it more unfair for the guys. LOL. Retail therapy is a good way to de-stress.

men would give anything to know the answers to that kind of questions.. it's so tiring when you are made to wait for hours on end at any shop by the female gender and then they just walk out freely stating simply that there was nothing worth there.. and we should probably check out the next one...

One thing you can do, is what I usually do. Hope this works for you. While your female friends/love ones are shopping, go to a shop which holds the male lines, and do your shopping while waiting for them.

[i]Hi wei, I also loves to shop and most of the time, the one that I will pick and love are those that are pricey too that's why I always wait for sales! LOL! Maybe it's our way of treating ourselves and to maintain our beauty, I mean one way to maintain our physical beauty since we can also maintain our beauty through innner! LOL! My hubby hates to shop but he will always treat me once he thinks I need some recreation..LOL![/i]

Goodwill store - Goodwill is a second hand store.
Welcome to Mylot first of all. :) My wife likes to shop. I am not all that into it mainly because of how much everything cost. So what do I do. I buy all of my cloths at a secondhand store. My thought is "Why spend so much on cloths when I can get the same thing for a fraction of the price."

well.. basicall thats true. probably the cost of buying a set of new clothes is equivalent to getting probably like 3 sets of it of the same price! But i prefer to have new clothes instead of secondhand ):

i'm girl, i like to shopping too. i prefer buying expensive, beautiful, suitable clothes to buying more quantities of clothes. i don't want so many clothes, i only want my clothes suitable, beautiful. why clothes are so expensive, i think 1 it's good brand. 2 it's new style 3 it's good quality. 4 it's unique

Usually the name, sometimes the material. Also the store, I'll admit I go to name brand stores and shop in the clerence isle.

welcome! well i might assume that the brand would be a very famous one,quality,range,substitutes it can go on and on. so many things resources, marketing so many.... so better be careful next time while chosing a shop to buy stuff but heart!!! what you like you buy ain't it! :)
