Ask for date - how will u ask for first "DATE"

well most of u guys have " Girl friend/ Boy friend " and mast of the piople want to have a date afterall it is enjoyment and way of increasing mutual understanding so "how will u ask from them for the date " please comment

Being a woman, i have never asked a guy for a date. however, if ever I would ask a guy, i would ask him subtly and with finesse. I may ask him if he could accompany me somewhere or get together with some friends. The first 'date' should be in a form of group date for me.
