I want to stop responding but I can't!!!

Hi everyone. I am a new user to this website. I was shocked to see so many people joining this website. I hope to know more about this website. Can anyone teach me ?

Haha I have days like that too when I need to get things done and I can't. I tell myself I'm just going to get on here a few minutes, look around see what people have to say, and I end up responding to all these discussions and I spend more time than I was going to, and I don't get anything done..lol.

ME TOO! i've noticed that either the discussions that i feel qualified to respond are increasing, or maybe i just feel less harried and stressed and i'm just seeing more clearly - i obviously can't say what i want to very eloquently, though - that last sentence was very weirdly worded but - i certainly agree with you - i've been getting more involved here lately, and i'm loving it!

Hi there! Well that is the magic of mylot hehe. This site is really addictive even I have been experiencing that right now. I have so many emails from mylot and I want to read and respond on all of them. Other than that I still want to search for other discussions when my emails are flooded from mylot discussions already. Responding and sharing views and opinions here is exciting. So many interesting discussions to choose from. I have been here for 8 hours already and am not bored yet and wants to keep responding more. But there are times that if I really have to do something important I logout for a while and then come back again if I still have time. Ciao!

Well it happens to me as well lol. I cant clean the house and do a lot of chores in time because i was hook up in my pc typing and sending my responsed to every topic lol. Everytime my hubby came home the first thing he saw on the pc is mylot...So he knows i was busy participating in the dicussion everyday. But during the weekend i actually refrain myself from ever going to the pc and check response. I wanted to spend that day with my hubby going out or watch a movie together.

Hello Bebs08! I even felt like that too. When I am tired, I just want to check the discussion I started and just browsing to see if there are new interesting discussion. But then if there are many who responded to my discussion, I can't help myself not to comment. Oh well, the power of mylot. I even turned into an irresponsible sister because I forgot the house work sometimes.

Hahah I know the feeling well . I have so much I need to get done but instead of doing it , I am on here answering posts and checking on the one's started . I think I am going to do a compromise . I am going to do this for half an hour then clean for half and hour and then come back on here that way I can get everything I want done :)

My friend, it is really hard to stop if you find interesting discussions so if you have some other important tasks don't ever ever log in at mylot. That is the best advice I could give. You know why... it also happens to me... many times. Sometime, I'd say... let me see first what's up with myLot... but like you I'd end up commenting and my other important jobs has to wait. Now, this proves that indeed myLot is addictive and we friends have been hooked on it.((ha!ha!ha!)

That happens to me everytime, i looks like a mylot addicts now,hahahaha. I forget everything and keep typing and typing on the keyboard. One time i didn't notice i made almost 100 post in 5 hours lolz. But sometimes i only have 10 or five post. That's sounds crazy. Happy posting.

it always happens to me... you know, there are times that i can't simply stop myself from replying to discussions even if i needed to do other stuffs at home.. its like a habit you can't stop... haha! but its a good habit though.. =)

This means that you are doing something which really interest you. So keep going.
