I'm hopeless at jokes - when I hear them I think they're funny, but I've forgotten them by the next day when I want to tell someone. The only one I remember - which doesn't translate to being written down - is; 'Why are pirates pirates?' - and the answer is, 'Because they ARRGGGHHHH!' I know. Pathetic!

haha, that reminds me of our recent holiday, my 4 yr old entered a fancy dress competition as a pirate and we had him memorise that joke....all he remembered was 'because they aaaargh'!!

Hahahaaha - yep, it appeals to four year olds - I think it was my granddaughter who told it to my son a couple of years ago! I rather like it - especially when it's done with feeling. I should get an Academy Award for the way I do it ... marvie!

Hi jessicaboardman,
I have heard jokes that will make me laugh hours later when I'm trying to sleep and then I will think of it and start laughing, but at the moment I can't think of any jokes on top of my head.
