Seems factcheck doesn't have all the facts. Obama did support outlawing handguns and you can see it by visiting The Chicago Tribune, I believe it was reported in Nov of 2007.
The so called armor piercing bullet bill was originally written such a manner that ANY cartridge capable of penetrating a a bullet proof vest would be outlawed. As Charles Schumer said " We need to ban this ammo based on what it can do". Any shooter knows that police vests are designed to stop low powered handgun rounds not rifle rounds. Factcheck got at least that much right.

But who factchecks factcheck? ;~D
But more to your point, that is one of the reasons I've never joined the NRA, they are just as likely to be free and easy with the facts as most other political groups.
The sad thing is, Obama's record speaks for itself, no one has to skew anything to see which side he falls on.

I think Factcheck.org is the greatest site on the internet. The only problem is that the people who need it the most won't use it. How do you get the NRA to go to Factcheck BEFORE they misinform the public?

Guess that will end (ha ha) the conservatives claims. Yeah right we all know that won't happen. At least maybe some undecided voters will see this. Thanks for posting.
