I have seen many people who are passionate about the gadgets . they always keep an sharp eye on the new coming technology. Whenever any new product launched with good features, they always want to be the first one to buy that gadget. same goes for mobile also. do you really care which new brand or product is coming in the market and buy that one. What is you say?

That is not bad, money should not be wasted in this kind of show thing. money is precious and accordingly should be expended. thanks and take care

The only time I need to change my cell phone is when the other one stops working. I don't need a cell phone that has 50 different ways to text message or search the internet. I just need a simple cell phone where I can call and/or text message. Spending over $200 for a phone is just ridiculous in my opinion.

you have logic for not to expend so much on mobile phone when your need is getting fulfilled with a much cheaper one. I appreciate you approach but there is also a other side of the coin, and we have thousands of people who thinks otherwise. thanks, take care

Hi! When I was in my country (the Philippines), I would change phones frequently because I would always want to have the latest phone in the market. It was prepaid so it's easy to change units. When I moved here in the States, I never cared about the unit anymore. Besides, the mobile phones in my country are more advanced than in here. Postpaid is common here, and there are so many offers of free phones. Right now, I have the Glyde which is the newest from Verizon, but I am still keeping my old mobile. In short, I am more attached to my cellphone now than before. I see myself changing phones every two years. Happy myLotting!

well you are right . in most Asian countries are having prepaid connection unlike the European and other western countries . I think this is good considering the economy and the financial condition of the users. Also i believe that most mobile countries make their products in the Asian countries, may be that is the reason why more advance sets are available here. definitely when we keep anything in our possession for so long, a attachment develops . I do have the same tendency with my older mobiles or any such item which belongs to me for a long time . Al the best, take care and happy mylotting

to be very true, i don't change my mobile phone very frequently . I am a student studying in a college and i don't have that much money. i have only limited budget and and that don't permit to expend lavishly. i have a nokia 1100 and i am happy with that. i know people with lot of money do all these funny things .

you are absolutely right about your approach, at present you have certain goal and you should not deviate from that. all other things are secondary to you where as study is your primary concern. take care, all the best

I change my phones every 2 years or so unless my current one breaks... Last time I changed my cell. phone was somewhat of combination... I had Nextel & my phone broke so I got their (sprint/nextel) hybrid phone... I wasn't too happy with that line of phone because it was dragging all the time & it tend to freeze up... Then I had a change of my position at work... So I changed the phone to blackberry because I needed an access to emails & internet but I couldn't be tied down to a desk...

Yes you are right, whenever we keep something with us for long time, a sense of belongingness develops. and it happens to everyone. so it can be understood very easily of your attachment with your mobile phone
