GMA is riding on his popularity with the masses. GMA thinks that if the lowly Pinoy love and support Manny, it will translate to the government or to her. It is sad that Manny is letting himself be used for GMAs political agendas. But I believe that Manny's intention to help the Filipino people is sincere. I just don't think how he joining the congress can help the people.

Well that is the general impression of him when it comes to politics. He is being used by these politicians. But then if you would look at it, his wealth can be traced from his winnings, but I think he is being used by these politicians because they know he has the money and the resource that is why but to think that the money is from the government I don't think so. With regards to his news coverage, well I really do not know if that is true, but it could just be a coincidence that this two news are being coined together purposely to distract the public attention, but for me Pacquiao is already a news item that any channel would want to air to boost their ratings game. Any news that the Pacquiao wants to release would definitely get the attention of these news makers just to be on top of everything in Pacquiao's life. #3 issue might also be true the present administration is holding on to this sensation that Pacquiao has to cover many major issues that the government is facing. That is why the administration is just as happy when Pacquiao has a fight since the country really stops bickering each other. I just hope that Manny would not be convinced again to run for government position since I think he is already doing good for his country already and there is no need for him to join the ranks of the government that is so unpopular.
