I am a pretty easygoing person, and my career is working as a video editor/graphic Designer in houston. It's usually easy going, and it gives me time to do my own little graphic things like make my friends look like Zombies in Photoshop and such things. But When a coworker is being difficult, or there's 5 deadlines that suddenly popped up from nowhere, and then outside stress with making a bunch of halloween costumes and planning a Wedding (I'm maid of honor) Sometimes I feel like I can't handle it all. So what do people do in times of stress?? I can't just NOT go into work, I won't get paid or worse, I'll get fired! So I need some help to know what to do to take the stress off my shoulders sometimes.

When I get into situations like that I try to seperate things out to deal with them in smaller increments, rather than in one big scary overwhelmin chunk.
Maybe you can take 1 day off from work and do all your halloween costume stuff, or at least make a good dent in it.
Can you get the other brides maids to help with some of the wedding stuff?
Sometimes letting other people know you need help can really be helpful.
Also...I knit. I do't know why but it really calms me down. I might be the repetitive motion of it, but I'll do that on the bus ride home somes days and I'm already a bit more decompressed by the time I get home.
Feel better!

Thanks!!!!! I find Sewing to be very therapeutic for me as well, except for when the pressure is on. Then it's a hassle that is hard to deal with. I also knit though and I LOVE it! I love sewing and knitting and other crafts, because it's like putting a puzzle together and it's amazing! Thanks for your wonderful advice!
