I made some pesto sauce with some basil from my yard. I am going to cook up some spaghetti noodles to serve it on. I am not sure what to serve with it though. Got any ideas? Do you like pesto sauce? Have you ever made it yourself?

I have always made my own pesto. I buy the ingredients because I don't have a garden (I tried, but the weeds defeated me.). I usually make enough to freeze for a dozen or so meals - you can fit one serving of pesto in one hollow of an icecube tray. I serve it with chicken because I serve most things with chicken. LOL

I had some leftover that I put in a little container and put in the freezer for later use. I serve most things with chicken too.

If you are making your own noodles then try this. Make your noodles as usual; add some tomato past to it. It gives you tomato pasta. Add the Pesto sauce to it and you have something unexpected and yummy. Mark as beneficial if this is helpful to you.

I did not make my own noodles, but that does sound like it would be good.

I have never made pesto. But I have had it. It is good for the ocassional treat. Most people eat it on pasta. But it is also good in place of tomato sauce on pizza. INGREDIENTS (Nutrition) * 1 ready made pizza crust * 1/2 cup pesto * 1 cup ricotta cheese * 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese * 2 tomatoes, sliced * 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese * add to recipe box Add to Recipe Box My folders: * add to shopping list Add to Shopping List * add a personal note Add a Personal Note DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). 2. In a small bowl, combine Ricotta and Parmesan. 3. Spread pesto over the ready-to-cook pizza crust. Spread the ricotta and Parmesan over the pesto, and layer the tomatoes over the cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan to taste. 4. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

I love pesto sauce. I love cooking Tuna Al Pesto - it is a pesto sauce with tuna. I also love Chicken Al Pesto - chicken with pesto sauce. Above all, I love pesto sauce which is creamier in taste... I really love eating creamy bacon pesto. I have it that pasta in a Gottis Restaurant and I really love its taste. It is a pesto with white cream sauce like the sauce of a Carbonara pasta but more tastier. Really love it and I think that is the best pesto I have ever tasted.
