mother arrested for using drug during last stages of pregancie?

I don't know how mothers to be can be so selfish, every child born deserves to have a natural start in that life, it is going to be hard enough to get through lifes negatives without the mother instilling those negatives even before they are born...

sad that this happens but its always the way when the mother is on the stuff grrrrrrrrrr.

Oh I really can't imagine how this mother can do horrible things to their kids. Last time I heard there was a mother who burned her baby alive int he microwave, and there was a father who burned a kid too.what is really happening to these people? they are so sick. Kids are very helpless specially babies, and specially the ones in our uterus. When I was pregnant with my kids, I always make it a point to take care of myself and be very cautious in every thing I do. I make an effort to stay healthy and stay away from foods that are bad for my baby. MY kids are naughty sometimes but I would never ever make anything that could hurt them. When I get mad sometimes, after a while I feel guilty, and to think these people could hurt their babies. I always thought that mothers love their babes the most and they are the one who will sacrifice anything for their babies, but now hearing this kind of news, I guess there are always an exception. Good thing that they are going to put the baby for adoption, there are lot more deserving parents or mom than her.

Too bad for the mother. It was done in that way because as a child, human rights are there even if you are still unborn. A mother is responsible for any outcome of her pregnancy and that is why a mother is subject to took care of her unborn child while it is still in her womb.

Thats terrible! I can't understand how a parent can put there needs before there child!

that sounds grotesque... what on earth is she doing pregnant.. if she had abort the baby it would have been far better for the newborn who now will have very serious health complications throughout the life... virtually destroying the essence of motherhood.. gone to the dogs...
