Where are your favorite places to take pictures?

I am not very into photography myself. I do carry a small digital camera during all my races and try to take scenery pictures that will help me remember the day.

At my highschool- there is this thing they call the Nature Center. It has a lot of trees and water, and it's just beautiful. Usually, I'll just go there.

Well, no matter where I travel I like to find cool local places to photograph! I check out local parks, wildlife reserves, monuments, zoos, aquariums, as well as any events that might be taking place! Often when I'm traveling somewhere, I will look up where I'm going on Flickr.com. I look at photos that other photographers took while they were there so I can get some ideas of great places to photograph! I can't think of any ideal place for photography. I think I can find ideal photography locations no matter where I'm going! I can travel to the same place time after time after time and still find new places to photograph!

I mainly enjoy taking pictures of nature, whether it is of a beach, of a forest, of water, ... anything that involves nature. There's just something that draws me to the outdoors.

There is this waterfall about 2 miles or so from my parents' house and it is just beautiful! I have a bunch of pictures and I would post them here, but I need to get a cable for my camera. We loved to walk there when we were kids and sometimes we still do. Unfortunately, there was a murder there a couple years ago, the first in our area as a matter of fact, but the falls still haven't lost their charm.
