Arroyo Gov't allocates 1 billion pesos for Travel around the World

We often heard that our country suffer economic crisis. But just lately I heard the our government allocates 1 billion pesos more for our president's travel around the world. What the hell is the mind of this people? Some of our fellow Filipinos barely have food serve in their dining table but our president still thinks on traveling around the world with the people's money. Just lately, their have been a lot of chaos in Mindanao, blood sheds and many people lost their livelihoods and some lost their lives, instead of having this amount for travel, this will greatly help those people to regain their living and start a new life. The farm to market road which she boast all the time? Where is it now? There have been lot of things that huge amount of money can do to uplift our economy. There are still provinces in the country which are unattended, worst case is, those provinces don't have appropriate access roads, and most people living their are farmers. But sad to say, they don't have any means to put their products into the market as it is hard to transport from their place down to the market place. I've also heard from the news that the Army truck was stuck on one of the roads in Negros due to broken roads and mud. There have been lot of things that the government have to pay attention. We often thought that our President is an economist? Where is it? Is this the work of an economist and as a President to travel around the world despite of the crisis our country is facing?
