Any tarot deck collectors out there?

I have approximately 54 tarot decks. Some are sets (deck and book) and others are just the deck. I don't read with all of them, but I love to look at them. The artwork is awesome. Some of my favorites are the Hanson Roberts, Robin Wood, Mystic Faerie Tarot, Fey Tarot and well, they are all my favorites, otherwise I wouldn't have them. LOL. I purchased alot of them, but some I have gotten as trades.

I like to collect tarot decks too. I only have a few though. I use a deck until I get tired of it or until another deck claims me for a time, but I like to keep the old decks for when I am in the mood for them. My current favorites are the Sacred Circle Tarot and the Osho Zen Tarot.

gee that is a rather expensive hobby I remember buying a pack of tarot cards a few years ago and they were so expensive, it certainly is an unusual collecting hobby you have there, very original I think..

It can be expensive, depending on what deck you want, but I belong to a tarot forum. They have people there that sell tarot decks they no longer want and others who like to trade what they have. The ones who sell, will usually sell them at a lower price than what you would normally have to pay at a store. Kinda like ebay, but not. Sometimes someone will buy a deck and open it up and realize it wasn't for them, so they go on the forum and either sell the deck or ask for a trade. I've gotten the majority of my decks this way. You'd be surprised at how many people collect tarot decks.

I have just one deck... the Rider Waite deck. I would like to have a couple more, but I just can't afford it.
