Right, I would think that it is safe for me to say that a near 70% of the human population on earth are coffee drinkers. And, maybe more than half of those people are actually addicts.
Check out how business is doing so great for coffee places like Starbucks, Coffee Bean, and many other coffee parlors....well...what happens if coffee runs out, or is banned...or no longer is to exist. Then, these places would have to be closed down...they will definitely go out of business because I do not think that they can survive very well alone on tea.
Personally, I feel that tea just does not compare with coffee....

that would be great! i hate coffee. my stomach is not used to it. i cannot sleep well after drinking coffee. well, i am not showing my selfishness. i also think that in general, human beings collectively will be more healthy without coffee. of course in the beginning it will be difficult. but human is the most adaptive living being on this earth. i believe it will get used to it, just need time.
regarding starbucks, the people behind starbucks are really entrepreneurs. i beliver they will be able to find something else to start business on.

Well, I guess that a lot of people will undergo withdrawal symptoms! We know that so many people are addicted to caffeine everywhere in the world. Coffee has become a part of everyday lives to many. Not to me, though. I can understand if many people would regret to see the day when the world ran out of coffee, but I personally am not a coffee drinker ever since I developed tremors from drinking a cup every morning. The coffee in my country is stronger than the coffee here in the States. Nevertheless, I try to be on the safe side. Hopefully this does not happen because I would feel sorry for my friends who are coffee lovers.

hi canner...i would feel so bad for my mother. she just loves that cup in the morning. now my sister uses those energy drinks. i prefer pop. so my mother might have to try tea, because she likes a warm drink with her breakfast. some people would really suffer though.
