Good day!! My breakfast isn't complete without eating pandesal.I love eating pandesal very much especially in the morning.Pandesal is a Filipino bread roll.It is made of flour, eggs, lard, yeast, sugar and salt.It is also used for dipping into chocolate but for me I like it best when dipped in a cup of coffee.Pandesal started out as a plain roll, traditionally servrd for breakfast accompanied by such items as butter, cheese, scrambled eggs or fillet omelets and can be eaten as it is.
Happy mylotting my Friends..

It's my favorite ever! i missed them, wish i can have them everyday here. But you know one thing i notice to the pandesal when i was there is when you compare it to the old pandesal before it's more on air than bread lolz, when you hold a grip on it it really goes so flat and looks like there's a flour shortage or maybe everything getting expensive. lolz

Hi mhae,
OMG, I miss that so much..I can eat a lot of that in the morning and afternoon and of course with hot coffee! LOL!
We have a favorite place in our city and I remember every December when 9 mornings will start, a lot of people will be buying and have to be patient waiting in the line! LOL!

Yes, I love eating pandesal as well, epecially if it is freshly baked and very hot. I love eating it not only at breakfast but also at merienda(afternoon snack). I like filling it with mayonnaise and cheese or spread some butter in it.

good day, me also eat pandesal but because of prize increase i much prepared to eat rise with pride egg every morning aside from getting much energy and less expense for that, try to compute the expenses between pandesal and rise you will recognize that pandesal is more expenses than rise because of the benefits from that....happy eating

I like eating that kind of bread as well. Currently, I am into stuffed pandesal. Many stores or bakeries already have that kind of improvised pandesal as they stuff flavors to the ordinary bread. I like it with tea or any hot beverage.

oh boy, did your post made me soo hungry.. =D isn't it a fact that all Filipinos eat and love pandesal? i don't know if there's someone who hate it or just simply doesn't like it..yesterday, i ate pandesal with cheese whiz and a cup of hot java drink =) to add up, i think it came from the word salted bread which is of Spanish origin. thanks for this!

I love pan de sal as well! I enjoy eating it with pancit canton! I also enjoy eating toasted pan de sal with butter. A few years ago, I discovered the joy of eating dirty ice cream with pan de sal. The two really compliment each other in a very good way. At first, I was kinda weirded out by the idea but then after trying it, my mind view of it was changed.

Yes this kind of bread is a very famous bread that is eaten by many as part of our breakfast daily. I think it is the most readily available bread for us here. I used to buy it daily in our nearby bakery but since we transferred residence the only available are sliced bread.

Yum! I eat it in the morning when it's freshly baked and hot with cheese and a hot milk chocolate to go with it. :) It is one of my morning rituals. :)

Yes I also like pandesal for my breakfast especially when its hot and a little bit toasted. I usually eat it with fried eggs and bacon and a cup of hot coffee. The bakery where we buy pandesal is just a few step away from our house so we usually have our pandesal hot and freshly baked..
Happy eating..
