i've been reading the da vinci code and i have to say it makes up a very interesting reading ..... i can't seem to tell the facts from fiction.. it's all very intertwined in there... one part of my mind says there ought to be some truth in it but the other part can't seem to accept the absurdities in it...

there was some true things in The Da Vinci Code.
Like Mary Magdalene,Priory of Sion,Opus Dei,and all the descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents, and secret rituals were accurate and true.
The Priory of Sion was a secreat european society founed in 1099.Some of the members included Sir Issiac Newton,Botticelli,Victor Hugo, and Leonardo Da Vinci.
Opus Dei is a group deeply devout Catholics and still exist today. The National Headquarters is at 243 Lexington Avenue in New York city

Christianity that we see now is ofcourse a mix of christianity in its pure form and paganism. Islam, the religion that came in a later period also had absorbed many things from Christianity. It is normal in history to have such carry overs. Still the book is fascinating. It celebrates womanhood which I liked most. Does anybody know whether somebody has seriously made a feminist analysis of this book? If so, please tell me. I would like to read.
