I am happy and proud being a Christian(Roman Catholic)even though there are so many temptations came into my life to the point that I decided to convert to Islam but fortunately I was englightened not to coz of some reasons that I considered.
Many of my friends here in the middle east they converted from christian to islam. I believe they have their reasons why they do that. I asked them why, and they answered they found the true meaning of religion and they're happy.
How about you? Are you happy with your religion? If you will convert, what religion would that be?

I am very very happy to be a jain...Jainism is a very different and amazing religion where every single being is considered as equal and given respect to...There have been many discoveries in science which were quoted to in Jain Agamas(shastras like bible for christians) years and eras ago...Even doctors believe that Jain way of living is the healthiest...Many have got cured themselves by following the routines that Jains follow like for example we jains should not have food after sun set and before sun rise as due to the absence of sunrays many organisms which is not even possibly known to the naked eye come and fall in the food and killing these animals is a sin and for the normal and practical perspective these animals after going inside our stomach create many diseases as there is lack of digestion strength due to the absence of sun which helps in increasing the digestion strength in our body..this is just an example and there are lots and lots of things that i have learnt from this religion and am very happy to be a part of it...nice topic..happy lotting

I am born a Hindu and would like to die as one. There’s no conversion for me coz I am very very content with my religion. Basically I am not a very religious person and more into spiritualism and Hinduism offers some very interesting avenues for the pursuit of purification of the soul and bonding with nature. It has no compulsions as such and the teachings are such that are applicable to our everyday lives, even today.

I am happy being a Christian. I think the religion you choose must the religion that makes you comfortable. The religion that makes you fit in and of course give you peace when you heard the song, or the beliefs suits you. I can find my own peace and comfort with my own religion. The other religions are good too, no religions that taught you any bad suggestion. It's just where our hearts lays. So I'm happy with my religion.

well, i am hindhu and i will be a hindhu forever. i never ever thought of changing religion till now. i am very much happy and proud of my religion.
As you brought up the discussion, i would like to through light on some points. converstion from one religion to another religion is very good, and i dont have any problem with that untill one falls really in love with other religion or if he finds true meaning religion.
Some people in the world are miss using this converstion of religion. they are earning money converting people. some religions pay for converting people. i have seen it. they pay for converting from one religion to another. the convertor will also be paid some ammount. this is leading to communal right all over the world. let the people convert with there own intrest but not force them to convert by luring them with some money or benfits.

It also happens with our neighbor the church promised them if they will convert they will be the one to send their kids to school and the whole family converted. Indeed, the church send the kids to school but I don't know if they are happy with their decision.

this mostly happens in poor people and to the people who need money. There are some people whose bussines is to convert people from one religion to another. so they target poor people. they will go near them and ask then to convert from one religion to another. if they convert from one to another they will be paid some ammount. if there family also converts he will be paid some more extra money. those poor people have no other choice but to convert as they need money. this is beeing happening
i will give u an example. this happend in india the person who got converted along with his family got 35,000 rupees and the middle man got 5,000 rupees. i know this is happing around the world. this is just an example i know.

What I am certain about is that I am happy discovering Christ thru Catholicism but I am not really a big fan of the Vatican and its churches. I do see it all as politics. But that is just my own opinion. What was Christ's religion? His is the religion of Love, that's where I want to be associated.

Hi musicandme, I am not religious although I am interested in all things spiritual, and believe there is good everywhere. I can't see converting to any religion myself, but think it's fine if another wants to do so. The important thing for me is not to judge others and to see each religion as just another way, not the only way. Blessings.

We should not judge somebody coz of their religion coz we really don't know what they believe. RESPECT is the only thing that we can give them.

Yes, I am happy with my religious choice. I was raised as a Christian, but made the change to Wicca many years ago. Its a choice that suits me best. My family chooses to remain either Christian or Catholic, but has no problem with my choice. Just as I have no problem with theirs if it works for them.

It would be difficult to explain one's religion in a simple paragraph. It would be much easier for you to do an internet search on the word Wicca. You'll find many many sites that will help explain it for you. :)

I am a Buddhist and I am proud to be a Buddhist. In fact I think I am lucky to be a Buddhist. I have no reason to convert for any other religion.

I am extremely happy with my religion that I chose a few years ago. It's made me even happier than where I was before. I also don't plan on converting any time soon. Well, actually, my "religion" isn't really an organized religion, it's more about spirituality and how you connect with nature.

Good for you then my friend! Choosing a religion is not really an organized one, for me, as long as you communicate to the creator with all your heart and soul that is the best religion. And if you are happy with what you are doing then nobody can change you. Have a good day my friend!

Yes, I am absolutely happy with my religion which happens to be the same with you. All religions have their flaws, remember our priests or whatever you call them are all humans as well, prone to committing sins. But let us not allow our religion's weaknesses drive us away to the one we consider as one and true God. Respect other religions because I think it's the name that we call them that only differs, we are referring to the same God. We don't have this religion right now just because of who's the pope or who's currently leading it or I like to be converted because of whoever, we are part of this religion for only one reason - HIM.

well, for me religion is not so important for it can only make you religious...
nothing will happen if you'll just continue to look for the right religion...coz actually, there is no perfect religion in the world...
religion can never ever change the bad life that you have....or the people you love most,,
our Lord, JESUS CHRIST! He is the only one can ever change your life!
i'll testify that it is true b'coz He had change my heart and make my life complete once again....
John 14:6 says that "...Jesus is the only way(and not our religion),the truth and the life and no one could ever go to the Father except through HIM!!!
just accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior..
Believe to his love
then Confess your sins...
and you will be saved!!!
im telling you...this is real!!!

we never should remain in what we born. we cant be as born christian/born as hindu or buddhist. we should seek what is the truth and y i convert. our main aim is to worship the creater and his word so we should find which is the correct 1. as im a muslim i know that quran is the word of god. the scientific facts discovered today was mentioned in quran 1400 years ago. hoe it is possible...prophet who was named as the final messenger was an illiterate person so no chance he created quran by himself. many come to islam than befor is because we can proove it scientifically. earlier it was not possible. i know people who just came to islam listening to quran even though without knowing the meaning because it is very beautiful gift and miracle from god allah.
i did research about other faith too but there are many questions un answerable in evryfaith but when talk about islam i have answer for everything.i never feel lost. i know what is all about. so im a proud muslim.

Yes I am very happy with my religion. there are many paths and when you find the right one, it is great. I am glad you followed your heart and not the crowd. Religion is such a personal thing. you shouldn't just change just to change. There has to be a reason you want to follow a new path. And if there isn't a new path to follow, then you should remain whatever religion you are.

I have no idea why I would convert to Islam. There may be some religious people practicing Islam that I would not find objectionable. However, members of this particular religion who are some sort of authority will postulate that it is ok, religiously speaking, for an Islamic man to marry a 9 year old girl (this was a recent news story). I can't go anywhere near that religion, I'm afraid.

I'm more happy with my relationship with Jesus Christ. Religion is just rituals that don't mean anything. A relationship with a loving God is what really matters.

Well, I've only been a Christian. I was raised in a Christian family and that altered my choice while I was young, but after growing up and experiencing the love of Christ for myself I chose to stay with Him. I have more peace and compassion in my life and love for others.

well normally I do not respond to any post about religion, because if I do. They seem to like to attack and discredit anything I say, but being a devout Roman Catholic. I guess I am and safe water here, because of my faith. I have a happy family, a great light, and most important am alive. As I become more involved with my lot you may understand why I say, why I am alive.as a matter of fact, last Saturday. My family, and I visited the Canadian martyrs shrine in Midland, Ontario, Canada. That is the site of the eight martyrs who were killed, tortured and what else by the by the Indians just to repeat in closing, I am more than happy with my faith. In fact, I'm a estatic good luck and keep the faith have a great day
