How long does it take for you to "move on"?

Well if you just broke up with someone how long does it take?and what are the things you do to forget the hurt?

When i broke up and got a divorce with my ex-wife I moved on as quick as possible for I do not want to feel self-pity on myself for i always told i am still the lucky person in this world and i got a wife now that Loved me for who I am......

Only time will tell when. But for me the only way to move on is to keep myself busy all the time so to avoid thinking and reminiscing. The pain will cut you deep for as long you want it to. Dont be harsh on your self though. Its ok to cry once in a while but dont let it ruin the rest of your day. Move on.
