What is platonic love?

I have read somewhere that platonic love is very dangerous thing. It's like walking on the edge of sword. If you know what platonic love is please post your comments.

platonic love is what you feel for your friends. it's like you're a man, i'm a woman, you're my friend, i love you very much but i'm not sexually attracted to you.

Platonic love is the love between a boy and a girl. Even youre too close from each other but still you havent crossed the line of being intimate.
