How many hours do we really nedd to sleep?

Seven hours, too. If you have slept less, you would still feel sleepy but if you woke up after 10+ hours, I think you have just conquered hibernation, err I mean try to moves those muscles to awaken your body that way it could lessen sleepiness.
Try to take nap in between long stressful work. Rest your mind.

No nothing is wrong wth you. The more you sleep the more sleepy you'll get, this is the general rule with me. I usally sleep for 6 hours and i am very active the whole day. But the day that i sleep for longer hours, i get up with a back pain and drousiness that stays for the whole of that day. Try sleeping for just 6 hours a day and see if it works for you too.

sleeping duration depends upon your biological needs, so there can not be a fixed duration. however 7-8 hours is enough. To know ur needs, work physically hard some day and then sleep. When you wake up naturally, note down the time and calculate the hours you took to sleep. This worked for me...

It's about 7 hours enough for us to sleep, minimum 6 hours and maximum 8 hours, so 7 is enough, if you already pass more than 8 hours and still feeling sleppy, you should check to the docter, i think there's something wrong with your blood sugar level ...

I feel great whenever I have 8 hours sleep! But most of the time I only got 6 to 7 hours everyday but that's also fine with me. And in the weekend though I can sleep longer. You maybe need to see a doctor or maybe need to work it out how many hours sleep you need so you wont feel sleepy.

I have a big sleep problem i think....Im a night person if i go to bed at like 11 i'll be back up at 4 and wide awake and then by time i get tired again and ready to go to sleep my kids are up and so id have to stay up but if i go to sleep at like 1:30am by the time my kids get up im still tired and takes me a min to actually wake up and get going which isnt longer because by then my 9 month old is screamin at the top of his lungs wanting out the crib to play but im always sleepy

Well it is said that we need around 6-7 hours sleep daily if we want to keep out mind and body active for the rest of the day.I manage to get around 7-8 hours of sleep daily,because of which I am able to concentrate on my work throughout the day.Some people feel sleep is a waste of time and do not sleep much,but they are wrong because our body needs rest,and just like how if we overuse something it degrades similarly with our body.Also sometimes people have to juggle their sleeping times depending ont their work shifts,but whatever be the timings,a person should sleep for 67- hours a day atleast,even if it might be difficult initially depending on work timings.

So do I.Sometimes I sleep mor than ten hours ,when I wake up I feel so sleepy.But tonight I talked to my friends till 4 o'clock in the morning.But I don't want to sleep.
