If you travel by plane that's much quicker just get an economy class to save you money. But if you traveling in a cruise that's enjoyable for me you can see different islands and blue waters, you have much to see around, but it takes longer than plane.
When i travelled from Asia to Europe we took the plane that takes 20 hours, coz it's faster and we got a baby with us. But it's not enjoyable for me, it makes me stress and i don't have much to see specially when your seats is in the middle, it would be nice if you are beside the windo and the air pressure makes me sick. So happy journey to you for your next vacation hope you'll enjoy. Happy posting.

If you have a lot of time to spare and love to interact with people, travel by ship. It is more relaxing and enjoyable. If you are in a hurry and want to get to your destination at the earliest, catch a plane and before you know you are there.

I like both, although I prefer air travel over a cruise. Flying allows me to go to faraway places and also to locations which are inland. When you travel by sea, as in a cruise, most of what you enjoy is on board the ship. Most tourist places I venture to are not reachable by ship, and so almost all my travels have been by air, and of course overland as well, be it by day tours or by driving on my own. There was once I had the best of both when I booked a cruise-fly holiday. I cruised for 3 days to a port of call at another country, then disembarked and spent another 3 nights in that country and then flew back. It was like 2 holidays packaged into one ~ a cruise first, then some overland travel and sightseeing at an island resort. I remember enjoying that trip very much and I am sure to plan for such a holiday again some time in the near future.

Good day... I would choose to travel by plane. I mean it would cut short your time to spend on a trip and actually will add more tie for you to explore the country you've visit.

Personally, I'm terrified of going on boats, I absolutely hate them. I love flying though, it's so exciting when the plane takes off, I love that feeling. Therefore, I would recommend flying.
I think, however, that if you're planning to go around the world, then it would be more interesting by boat, as I would imagine that you would see more things. When you're on a plane, all you really see are clouds.

Traveling by plane in an economy seat is usually fine because going by air is a relatively quick journey. In 14 hours a plane can fly from London to Singapore. By cruise ship that journey might take one month to do that same journey. I go on planes to travel far away and I use ferries for short hops not journey on them for weeks. The transport that gives me the most enjoyment is train because it is comfortable and roomy. I can look out of the window in the day time and sleep in a comfortable compartment in the night time. On a ship my bunk rocked about going from the UK to the Netherlands. Economy class plane seats are not ideal for sleeping in but once I had three seats to myself. I traveled around the world by plane when I was 20. My route was London-Los Angeles-Hawaii-Fiji-Sydney-Adelaide-Cairns-Darwin-Singapore-
London. Cruises are expensive but by air and bus as well as train can be a reasonably priced way of going around the world. Good luck.

I would rather travel by plane, it's a lot faster so you get more time to spend in the destination of your choice, now boat would take some extra time. I'm going on an eight hour flight to Sweden from America in December, and then staying for a month, and I would hate to extend an eight hour flight to an eight day one haha. I am more fearful of boats though as well, boats are just so "on their own" I guess you can say, if you are sinking there may not be anyone around for miles, but planes are scary too for obvious reasons. I should not try to scare you though before you take any fantastic trips, I don't want to deter you! Happy mylotting, and have a great day or night.

if you really want to maximize your vacation you can go by plane if you're in a hurry to be in the place you wanted to visit right away. but if you plan to enjoy the trip, go by boat. it's also like cruising because you get to meet other people and have the chance to relax and enjoy the sea.
in our country (came from the Philippines) if you are going to travel, its advisable to go by plane since its more convenient, fast, and safe. i mean, i don't intend to pry and discourage tourists to visit our country but our ships here are almost all second hand ships from Japan. those ships there are to be abandoned then here comes the Filipino ship owner who looks for a cheaper than brand new ships and decided to purchase the rusty one. plus the rates of the fare don't go far.the difference is too small and almost unnoticeable.and another factor is, the food in the ship is very expensive.

I would definitely say the plane! I just love to fly and the best part that I like about flying is the taking off and landing! The G-Force that you experience is terrific. I cannot say though what it would be like to travel by ship as I have never been on a cruise. If you are travelling by ship then I suppose your whole travelling experience would last a lot longer! I just like the way the stewardesses attend to your every need! Flying, definitely; cruising, absolutely not!! Andrew

OK here is the story If its the cities you want to visit like Rome,Paris,Berlin,New York,Toronto then you fly and get to the city or cities of your choice as quickly as possible If you just need space ,a quiet time and want to enjoy every day with great meals, dancing ,etc etc then a Cruise is my choice. One other very important thing It depends on how much money you have to spend so check it out and that certainly would have a bearing on your choice.Good Luck and Have a Great Time we are not here that long
