i hate those professors who don't have a perseverance to share their knowledge to their students...
where their strategies is to
- insist you to buy some reference book whose author is him.
- where there is an exercises is on the book and you have to pull it out and pass it to the prof, after you answer them without any kind of discussion regarding on that matter.
- having a surprise exam or recitation...
i think that they were getting tired teaching..
and enjoying their wages privileges attending their schedule everyday on the class.
without discussion and interactions (verbal) to their students.

I feel for you. I'm a teacher, I'm not a professor so I think there's a very good distinction between teaching and professing. I always believe that teaching 100% knowledge is a collaboration, cooperation, understanding and diligence between the receiver and the giver of knowledge. It's a partnership. a student's failure is a teacher's failure. So, if you fail on your exams, your professor also fails in his teaching.

Well.. Some lecturers really don't teach a lot. You have to ask them a lot of things regarding the topic so that they'll explain it, but sometimes they won't tell even if you ask about it. Some lecturers are strict but some don't really care at all. That's college life. But I like being a college student because I'm more free to decide and do what I want. But of course being free doesn't mean you do even bad things. :)
