A couple of years back, my hubby and I went to Pagudpod. We love the scenic place, we love the fine white sand in the blue waters, we love the fresh food. Everything is so peaceful back there. We stayed over at Panzzian, where there's no television our room, not even a network in our mobile phones. Its like simple living, a great getaway to the buzzy-busy city life. We enjoyed trekking to the falls, too.
On our way back, we went to see the sinking bell tower and we also dropped by the historic Vigan. I love thpse days and I wish when we have the time, we can go back to the Philippines and see those wonderful places again.
Have a great day!

Hi there luigeline!
I have been to Ilocos Norte several times already. It is a very beautiful place.
I think I have gone to almost every beautiful place in Ilocos Norte. In Batac, I have seen the Marcos Museum. I have seen the Bacarra Ruins, Natba Watch Tower and the Bell Tower of Bacarra. Dua-dua Falls and Karingking River are both magnificent sites in Solsona, Aqua Grande, Mara Ira, Bulu River, Bantay Abot caves, Dos Hermanos Island, Patapat Viaduct, Mabogabog Falls, and some beach resorts in Pagudpod. Malacanang of the North in Paoay is worth the trip as well. The La Paz sand dunes and Lataag View Deck in Laoag as well as the Dingras ruins in Dingras are cool sites too! There are great sites in Currimao and Burgos too. Like the watch towers and lighthouses. And yes, how could I forget the magnificent windmills at Bangui!
