Walkman or Ipod

I like the appearance and size factors with the Ipod. They are a slick design and have so many options. My daughter wants one for her birthday, so I am trying to find a good deal on one of them for her. She will be thrilled to pieces. I would be too as they play for far longer than alot of the cheaper brands and have so many optioonal accessories to go with them.

I love my IPod, and am envious of the Iphone. What a great invention, however I would not give my child an IPod to take on a trip. The old Walkman is a fine toy for the kids. I think anyone who puts an expensive device like that in the hands of a baby is crazy... or Independently wealthy.

i prefer the ipod video. just keep it loaded and you're good to go. you wouldn't get bored during long waits or long distance traveling. it is very entertaining.
