Isn't that part of loving someone? Being willing to give your life to save theirs? I believe that if you truly love a person, whether it be a parent, child, spouse, or friend, you'd be willing you give your own life to save theirs. I know I would give my life for my family,children, spouse, and friends in a heartbeat if it meant they would live.
