I just had myself a small pack of gummy bears. And no I did not save any for anyone else! (Well my wife had a couple but THAT'S it) When it comes to jelly candies I would sooner go Yakuza and chop of my own finger rather than hand them out! lol. So what little treat is it for you then that brings out the raving, selfish maniac from within? What single (or multiple, go on don't be shy!) treat will you guard with your life to the point of somebody having to pry them from your cold dead hands just for the chance to enjoy one too? Now please don't get nervous..... I am asking you to share your stories and NOT your goodies OK!

Hehe you selfish so and so!! lol i absolutely love coffee flavoured chocolates, so when i have a bag of revels i will share them but if anyone other than me gets a coffee one i get really jealous and angry, i tend to give people the ones that are obviously maltesers, raisons or toffee so that i can keep all the coffee ones to myself!! hehe xxx

Selfish and LOVIN'it Munchkin! Well if we were sharing a bag of chocolates the scenario would be ideal, I am not overly keen on the coffee flavoured lollies so you could have them and I could have the rest. Perfect! Anything with mint in it we can throw at people! lol. Thanks for repsonding.

Wow, I didn't respond to this discussion because I thought it was about gummi bears! Now I see it's about Blue Bell ice cream and chocolate!!! I gladly share whatever I have, although with sweets I tend to be a bit greed possessed, but still, I'll share but I keep the lion's share for myself. Except for Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Rarely will I EVER share any of those!!! The most I will part with, if I have a lot, is 2, and that's only if I have a lot! Man those things are absolutely addicting... and they are made with the kind of chocolate that has milk in it James, so you should feel right comfy with them, hehehe. They're not organic either! In fact I just found out they are the same company that puts out tic tacs! Hahaha, I always liked tic tacs too, but I'm more generous with those!

I enjoy the Ferrero's too. Especially the white ones with the coconut on the outside! I one bough one of those Ferrero pyramids and figured I could make 'em last for a while but that was stupid of me and I think they remained for all of a day or two! I have absolutely NO discipline when it comes to things like this. Crunchy on the outside, all soft and gooey on the inside..... Mmmmmmmm. The other ones I like are those Lindt balls. They too are sensational! SaintAnne, I LOVE the white Toblerones the best! I once bought one that was huge, it was like a kilogram or something and was almost the size of my arm! This didn't last long either I'm afraid. I have always had a sweet tooth and I hope I never lose it.

In high school, a lot of the guys give the ladies Ferrero Rocher or Toblerone when they go a-courtin. Lol. I also got a burger once but I was still in grade school so my friends and I divided that among the four of us.

Do I have to answer this one? OK OK, don't give me that look. I can die for choc'lates in all assortments (specially with hazel and smooth honey cream insides). Then there comes kebabs - all kinds of, and chips and french fries. I can actually survive on these.

Mimpi you may choose to answer with nothing at all if that is your desire! But we both know there is a creative monster inside of you that will always burst forth with a few choice statements, so no point fighting it! I am a chocolate fan myself and know for sure that you are too as I have seen your posts on it! Kebabs are tasty too. Here in Egypt they have something called a kofta which is very similar! Thanks for the inputs mimpi and for God's sake, I am sure you could survive on this stuff but it's probably better that you don't try to prove it!

I looOove gummi bears! And I could eat a lot in one sitting. I also find myself 'breaking' different parts of different gummi bears and then reattached them to other colors. So I get a multi-colored gummi bear! More fun! I love kitkat. I'm generous but you have to ask me if you want one. If one just disappears without my knowing, then I will investigate the matter! Boyfriend shares a couple See's chocolates with me. I can't ask for more because he's very protective of them. I like shrimp so the less people eat it, the more for me!

Did you see the picture of the gummy bears I attached? Perfect, just PERFECT! lol. I love it when you occasionally end up with one of those freak bears, you know the ones right? They somehow slip through quality control and are these colour hybrids or funky shapes! And if you were to expect to eat a bowl of shrimp in front of my wife and I SaintAnne I think you would end up with one heck of a fight on your hands! Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I do save those funky hybrids for last, James. And I don't see any picture of gummies attached to your discussion. I guess we can share the shrimp... 70-30. Zig, I didn't mention the gummy fountain. I haven't invited anyone else but you to that town. Besides, you might be right. He may declare war on my town, to "free the people from my despotic reign", but actually just wants the fountain and then bring it to his unnamed jungle town.

My sister knows how much I love M&Ms, and so I had a big bag of them in my refrigerator. She also knows that when she comes over to visit, any chocolate in the fridge is mine alone (but don't worry, I get her her own chocolate). So, the day before she came over, I decided to mess with her. I got a pad lock and put the M&Ms between the lock. The day she came over, I told her that if she wanted some M&Ms, she could have some. I think it took her 20 minutes to try and figure the combination on the lock before she gave up. Now she respects my chocolate.

Oh! M&M's! mmmmmmmmmm. They were once such a simple pleasure! Then all of a sudden peanut M&M's rear their heads and are then followed by M&M's crispy..... The battle field to protect became so much larger all of a sudden! You have also provided me now with a bit of a tough question to answer. Who likes the M&M's more? You for locking them up; or your Sister for spending THAT long trying to work out how to get to them? I think it's you as the winner because she DID give up in the end! lol. Thanks for responding IrishRose and for God's sake, get yourself a better lock for next time because she is bound to work it out a second time around!

Fried Whitebait - Small fish used for both fishing bait and for eating as fried fish and firtters etc
Swedish Fish! I am not 100% sure what these are but I am assuming they are like what we call "Whitebait" in Australia and New Zealand. We use them for bait as well and occasionally fry them up all crispy or make them into fritters! I have included a picture of some fried whitebait. Are they the same? Thanks for responding peaceful and I hope your next panfish is a huge one! lol.

haha... hummmm. i don't know if i have anything i would be really selfish over. i guess since i give into my kids i always give them a little. i like a lot of sweet things and chocolate. recently, i made a batch of almond rocca shortbread bars and pretty much ate most of them. my husband had the last handful of it, and my kids had a piece each. once a month i normally go into a I WANT SWEETS phase, chocolate mostly. as for things outrageous, i don't think i've done anything like that.

I will not share my Good n Plenty or my Candy Corn! Ok, you can have one. I actually had a teacher in nursing school who pulled me aside one day after class and told me how some chemical in black licorice was going to do something awful to my body, I think she said it leached potassium. She said she noticed that I was eating it every day in class. I told her it was the only thing in the snack machine that I liked! She said I should go to the grocery store and get something different once in a while for my health. I also adore Atomic Fireballs! Luckily, the stepson and husband don't like them at all. No hiding necessary.

Hurmm... I am like that when I eat chocolate.. I mean once I eat one I will keep on eating and eating until the whole packet is finished and then I will feel a 'lil bit' guilty when it's all finished. Oh, why bother, just buy another packet. It's not that expensive. Eat, eat chocolate until you get fat ^^

But for me, i got an addiction to maltesers i love it, the sweetness, the smoothness and it melts in your mouth lolz. When it comes to chocolates count me in, i always open the fridge now and again. Ha ha. Your husband sounds EXACTLY like me rainmark! My wofe and I will be out grocery shopping and I will excuse myself to go and hit the sweets section! I will then come back with a few sneaky packs of jellies! lol. I enjoy Maltesers too. What is really tasty with Maltesers is to leave the bag closed, smash them into many pieves with a rolling pin or wooden spoon etc; and then open the packet up and sprinkle them over ice cream! Oh yeah! Thanks for responding and the fact that you can eat as many as you want without getting fat is great for you and totally unfair for the rest of us!

I am a fan of potato chips myself! Here in Egypt they have a local brand called :Chipsy" and there are some pretty unusual flavours. Grape leaf for one! I am an old fashioned chips kinda guy and enjoy the classics like salt and vinegar and plain salted. I am also a big fan of the corn chips like Dorito's and have even ended up 50% orange from too many Cheeto's! Thanks for responding chabawel and keep hiding those packs!

oh good *eyes shift nervously* had me sweatin there!! erm honestly!!! gravy i'm a little obsessive about gravy, kfc gravy in particular. In fact i have concidered getting pregnany or pretending to so that my boyfriend would go buy loads of tubs and i could just sit and eat it with a spoon. I don't really have a sweet tooth, i like crisps but i tend to have a gravy pot all to myself because i find it really difficult to share. i'm usually the first to share with other things and i try not to be nasty but ITS MINE!!!!!!!!! thats whay i get/make an extra pot for me because i WANT IT and i DON@T WANT TO SHARE IT. Luckily after certain incidents where i've gouged peoples eyeballs out for stealing it people have got the message gravy = life.
