I was so surprise the first time when I see the sign of "No MSG" is Panda - the Chinese fast food. I ask some of my colleagues and they tell me that MSG may cause some Americans get heart attack. I was somehow shocking about this. Because in China we used MSG everyday, we put them in nearly every meal.
But now my favorite flavor becomes a poison to other people, so I was surprised.
So, do you eat MSG here, and do you afraid about it?
p.s. If you like it, you can get some in the Chinese market (you can see that Chinese people can't live without it:)

MSG equals Migraines for me, too. Terrible, hospital type headaches.

I love Panda! That is the place for me and my husband for lunch or dinner. Yeah Americans don't like MSG. But I am use of foods having MSG, it helps naturalized foods you cook. When I was in the Philippines, my dad always use MSG. Like me, not really a good cook I really need MSG just in case..hehe.

well, its nice to see that people are trying to be a little more health cautious. Chinese food isn't always the healthiest thing in the world you know, ESPECIALLY made in the local places like Panda. i have a Chinese cook book and they do use that for flavoring. i think sometimes, its just out of control. in china though i would assume people are more healthy in their living style. in the US not only do people eat fast food about 4-5 times a week but they don't get enough nutrients or exercise they need. so every little bit of them to become healthy they do. but since i never really notice the different i would probably say i'm not addicted to it, but like i said, the more authentic i want it, i'd have to use it. but since i'm not the healthiest person in the world i would only use it in moderation.
